Interesting Sales

I have been a big Randy Bowen bust collector from the beginning.
Over 100 Bowen Busts I own in a display case (and everywhere else in my house I can find)

I have owned exactly 1 of the Legend Promo busts from Bowen and have searched for years & years for a 2nd to purchase (thinking they’d run for anywhere from $40 - $60 - just my guessing).

This came up with a start at $250 which I scoffed at. No way was I paying that much. Then I noticed what it ended for :flushed: :flushed: :star_struck:

Suffice to say, that no 2nd one is in the plans anymore

Holy cow. I used to be into Bowen mini busts as well. A bunch of years back I did a big purge and sold them.

Incredible…it’s not even a newsstand…

This is not a rare book in high grade…people just don’t think to grade copies…

Ok, now we’re playing with Pennies.

Last Lincoln penny ever struck/minted up for auction. What’s it going to go for, including the 20% buyers premium?

I’m going to say $10million…just slightly north of the a Superman #1 in 9.0 (CGC). Coin collectors have more
Money/deeper pockets than comic collectors!!!

My guess is $10,000,000.01

See what I did there?

Just so everyone knows… 1943-D Lincoln Bronze Wheat Penny — $2.3 million was the most expensive penny ever sold at auction and there’s just one of them in the entire world, a true RARE and HTF type of item if you ask me…

But we do live in strange times I think where people might spend more on these… but we’ll see.

Always keep a 3rd eye out there for high grade raw #1’s of popular 60s and 70s tv shows.

This is only a 9.0 but went for $500.
