Jim Comics Picks

Tosin is the new Boof!

Seriously though, the fact that the character is appearing in the Local Man Gold one-shot crossing over with Cyber Force, Street Angel, and Love Everlasting makes ZERO sense and even less spec value.

We already saw how weak these things are with Cates’ “Crossover”

“Unofficially unannounced blah blah…” What does that even mean and how does one come to that “conclusion???”

KCC works in mysterious ways…

Not even gonna comment on how someone bought a set off eBay on June 1. Ugh. Sorry guys, you buy that because it was mentioned on an app then it is on you.

What is really funny is I did that gag list of comic to hype. Book was #1, please take a second to look over the winners on that one. Many suggested by other forum members.

tempting… Old book at its max value or newer book with nothing but room to grow…

It’s pretty funny because I often refer to Boof & the Bruise Crew when discussing a book that should never see gains and that you couldn’t give away.

Nows the time people. List them if you got them. This is that one window for a potential sale.

Make sure to list them as “As seen on Key Collector Comics App”

Data show that successfully selling Boof and seeing Haley’s Comet both occur only every 72-76 years. Don’t miss out.

Those CBSI folks get so agitated when they’re accused of pumping something that is nothing or just came out of nowhere.
This has been the case for like 10+ years.
And at times, I get it and think hobbyists are being over-accusatory over that same course of time.

Then something like this comes about - “Boof” which I saw BOTH on the KCC AND the CBSI website and I just have to SMH and say… y’know what guys? The over-accusatory statements of pushing garbage is still part of your MO. You deserve the horse sh*t that is flung in your direction.

Unless someone has some kinda inside information (which is not being stated)

the appearance in Local Man Gold is what’s sparking all this. It’s a tempest in a teapot that doesn’t mean anything. Anyone who thinks this is a great Boof revival deserves to get stuck with the trash

All I can say is 6 auctions or BIN have closed on ebay since 5/31. That’s a massive upward trend compared to 0 in weeks prior. Anyway. If you have copies in the bin list them now while people are being dumb and buying this dreck. I know I will list mine

Very good advice. I wish I had some of these too to so I can list. When I hit my LCS today, I’ll check to see if they have any sitting around.

I still can’t believe how much this crap from Jim and then KCC is moving a book that probably won’t amount to anything.

I think 3 of the top 5 books I see most often in either $1 bins or at yard sales is:

  1. That eyesore White bag Superman issue
  2. X-men (Jim Lee) #1
  3. Boof

followed by:
4. Starslayer random shitty latter issues
5. Grimjack random shitty issues

I just leave them be in the last few years. I’m so tired of looking at them.

Not gonna lie, I chuckled when I saw Boof on this week’s KCC and CBSI. This whole thing reeks of one giant pyramid scheme and watching unsuspecting people getting scammed in real time.

Where on cbsi did they mention Boof? I don’t Go to the site but checked and only saw it on the true firsts article but didn’t know how to get to it.

I found my first mention of Boof on the main site here (been busting on Boof since 2014)

And as a double whammy check out the Hidden germ I added to the end of this post
