Certainly seems like they’re trying to manipulate the market on past books when they do things like this. When you have influence and followers, anything you say and do can benefit you and others, so who knows what’s going on behind the scenes.
But I’m with ya, why bring up all the hocus pocus secret stuff that you can’t talk about or reveal yet you’re bringing it up? That’s what rings the alarms for me… Just briefly mention a book and move on without all the “I can’t tell you more but trust me… blah blah blah”…

Do you have actual evidence of this or you just taking his word for it? Has he ever shown his actual face or real name? I would take anything coming from the horses mouth with a grain of salt to be honest… unless you know them personally and have more concrete evidence. I find it hard to believe he’s just spending all this time for fun…
Just wait till Jim mentions Boof and the Bruise Crew. KCC has just put it in one of their lists (the free part of their app). Someone must know something about something.

Oh my god they actually listed it. Maybe the frequent amount of references as one of the worst comics ever, that always appears in collections of 90’s comics I seem to purchase, has made it trend on Google and they picked up on it

Seriously though, the fact that the character is appearing in the Local Man Gold one-shot crossing over with Cyber Force, Street Angel, and Love Everlasting makes ZERO sense and even less spec value.
We already saw how weak these things are with Cates’ “Crossover”

What is really funny is I did that gag list of comic to hype. Book was #1, please take a second to look over the winners on that one. Many suggested by other forum members.

It’s pretty funny because I often refer to Boof & the Bruise Crew when discussing a book that should never see gains and that you couldn’t give away.
Nows the time people. List them if you got them. This is that one window for a potential sale.
Make sure to list them as “As seen on Key Collector Comics App”

Those CBSI folks get so agitated when they’re accused of pumping something that is nothing or just came out of nowhere.
This has been the case for like 10+ years.
And at times, I get it and think hobbyists are being over-accusatory over that same course of time.
Then something like this comes about - “Boof” which I saw BOTH on the KCC AND the CBSI website and I just have to SMH and say… y’know what guys? The over-accusatory statements of pushing garbage is still part of your MO. You deserve the horse sh*t that is flung in your direction.
Unless someone has some kinda inside information (which is not being stated)

the appearance in Local Man Gold is what’s sparking all this. It’s a tempest in a teapot that doesn’t mean anything. Anyone who thinks this is a great Boof revival deserves to get stuck with the trash

All I can say is 6 auctions or BIN have closed on ebay since 5/31. That’s a massive upward trend compared to 0 in weeks prior. Anyway. If you have copies in the bin list them now while people are being dumb and buying this dreck. I know I will list mine

Very good advice. I wish I had some of these too to so I can list. When I hit my LCS today, I’ll check to see if they have any sitting around.
I still can’t believe how much this crap from Jim and then KCC is moving a book that probably won’t amount to anything.
