He’s a fun character but I don’t think he’s anyone to hype that much.
We put too much emphasis on what Jim says. If you enjoy listening to a guy who clearly loves comics chat away about what he thinks is cool or worthy of buying, great. If that stresses you out, just skip it. He’s just a dude talking comics.

He fancied himself a market influencer though during the pandemic boom when uneducated spec’ers and new collectors entered into comics. I remember him talking about some random micro publisher book being written by a Hollywood star under a pen name. He just BS’s with little research or work put in.

Sounds like 90% of the “influencers” out there on the internet… I just avoid most if not all of it nowadays. Life’s better unplugged from the internet lately for me…

I’m holding out for a NM copy.
A 9.8 showed up…but was asking $100s…otherwise I haven’t seen a copy on eBay better then VF/NM going back a few years.
I like that issue because Damian makes a fun Batman.
I still have that issue… I need to list it.
Mine isn’t a 9.8 but it’s still not in bad shape finding it in one of the 50 cent long boxes at Half Price Books where floppy books go to get destroyed by the masses… So I’m doing it as an auction, starting at $1, cause that doubles my ROI if it only sells for a buck…
