Lanterns

John is a power source. He can probably charge the ring just by saying the oath. Yeah…it went from darkness to daytime in that hour they had left…and it just keeps going.

I guess you don’t need a ring to use that black hole thing.

Or he was keeping tabs on sinestro.

Scratch that…Hal doesn’t kill. He was going to turn him in…tie me n the beacon to call the lanterns. Kerry is just trying to keep this town together….shot him.

Kerry probably was not able to have kids…and Zoe gave her a child. Her “miracle.”

However the mysteries pan out I’m surprised most by how much I’m enjoying the show. Had no expectations going in and I’ve been sat every Sunday night since the first ep. Not a perfect show by any means and no, not the GL show you would expect but it still makes for great TV. Wish they had more than 8 episodes but that’s the streaming model.

Welp, I was wrong about Sinestro.

What…a…finale

The reveal of how Hal died…F%$K…

Daaaaaamn great episode. Seriously.

The scene between John and Guy was ■■■■■■■ spectacular.

Kyle Chandler & Kelly Macdonald deserve Emmys.

Cant wait for Season 2 !!

I’ll be honest. I wasn’t satisfied with the ending. Maybe because I figured out the gist of what was going down, which muted my response…I thought my nuances of how it should go down would have been more of a plot twist or provide more drama. I won’t say more for now until it’s safe to reveal spoilers.

What I will say is it looks like John is going with his “gut” for once with he decision(s) on moving forward…and letting certain things be. And that’s a very different John from where he started in episode 1. So a little Hal rubbed off on him in the end.

I just can’t get over the flying….doesn’t seem natural. Or maybe it’s too natural and I like Hollywood better (I expect immediate take offs at Mach speed and landings that shake the ground…!)

I did enjoy the banter between John and Guy at the end. Setting us up for some good personality conflict in the next movie.

I’m somehow satisfied and disappointed at the same time with the finale. No huge spoilers til more watch it so I’ll just say I don’t think the finale brings down the season as a whole since it fits with the grounded nature of the show thus far but was selfishly hoping for a little more action or spectacle, something lol. Any scenes with Hal and John were great as usual, enjoyed the Guy/John scene but Sinestro felt like wasted potential as did Noah. Still was a pretty darn good season of TV.

I really thought the new battery was going to be a yellow lantern. That would have made it for me.
