Local Small Comic Shows

I’ve attended that Mid-Hudson comic con; since it is about 10 minutes from my house.
Having roughly 4 comic dealers in total at the show and rest selling furries, trinkets, pops, toys, homemade stuff, and anything but comics has put the show on my “don’t bother” list.
On top of that the entrance fee is not cheap from what I recall. So, it’s a big nope for me

Not a con, but a sale.

Today’s haul from the New Haven show.

These were $2 each. Nothing all that special. Most for the PC. I thought maybe the NM87 might have been a toy variant because it had no UPC. Robin Hood was a favorite Disney movie of mine growing up. Hard to pass up a $2 Mcfarlane hulk.

Note the green DC label in the upper left. That signifies a 2nd print. These are difficult to find in NM+ or higher grade….9.8s go for $100. These all look like 9.8 contenders, so I may take a chance and send in to CGC for grading. $2 each!

These were 50 cents each. The WF1 is a bit rough, but will see if someone will pay $10. The Jessica Jones is an Aja cover variant…so PC bound.

Remember when these Avengers 7 books were $20+?? Still worth $1 for the pair, I think.

Wouldn’t be a flea market/comic show without grabbing a Turok #1 for a $1 (my good luck charm).

The only book I paid a premium for…if you call $15 a premium. I have issue 7, so wanted this for the PC. Not a 9.8, but a nice NM copy.

Someone made what I think is a custom red hood figure from parts. Couldn’t pass this up for $5.

All together walked away paying $67 after the $5 entry fee. Not expecting to make this back quickly, as it likely will come from the Batman 436’s. But it was fun.

Ditto. 100% ditto.
Took me years to find NM copies

Oh man, I didn’t realize there was more than one issue…just grabbed it. I saw another one in the collection but I think it was the same issue…didn’t look that close.

Yours are gold key which is nice as well, and I didn’t realize this was a variant.

Cool!

If your in the Greater Toronto Area, these are the best to go to, way better than Toronto Comic Con or Fan Expo, neither of which even touch these shows in terms of selection.
