I read a spoiler in a review (so don’t read on if you care about that ) how other than some glimpses into the future no one actually gets their spider powers besides Madame Webb and it’s just the other women hanging around most of the movie saying quips. WTF?
Dakota Johnson is getting raked over the coals on social media. She’s having a disaster of a time doing PR for the movie which is now trending to be the worst MCU movie of all time. She doesn’t know anything about any of the Spider-man movies, have no intention of watching her own movie (pretty awful way of promoting your own movie and instilling confidence to viewers), and generally being a square and failing to find the humor that her infamous line in the movie was going viral and people making fun of it. This will be the last time you’ll be seeing Dakota Johnson in an MCU movie.
All this while KCC and influencers are still pumping that ASM 210

I actually appreciate the fact that Dakota Johnson doesn’t give a hoot. I recently read an article saying that basically she speaks her mind and that’s her. I admire that she’s not trying to act like it’s some masterpiece of a movie and admits it’s crappy.

Still rather unprofessional imo. There’s lots of other people who worked on the movie and for some may never see another role ever again. Not to mention the people behind the scenes who worked hard on the movie. As the leading star in the movie, at least show some decorum to at least do the bare minimum to promote your own movie for gods sake. I read somewhere that this movie was suppose to be a launching pad for further projects to spin off from this had it done well. All these Venom, Mobius, Madame Web movies could’ve been the next Guardians of the Galaxy type of franchise but now it’s all doomed.

Harrison Ford famously does not give a damn about star wars or the fanbase and he’s being like that about marvel yet everyone praises and loves him so I don’t really see any issue with dakota johnson being like that
I find Dakota Johnson to be very stale and without personality. And she’s definitely made comments that come off as being privaledged. I thought this person summed it up pretty good…
I don’t like her. I haven’t enjoyed her interviews on late night talk shows. I thought her SNL skits when she was host were horrible, mostly because of her acting did not work with the script.
The Please Don’t Destroy skit was actually pretty good when they were roasting her. But her deliveries were very drab/odd. Uncomfortably so…
I don’t think I could sit through a movie with her as a lead if these are any indication of her acting.

Agree. I find her extremely boring in her roles and in real life. IMO she is the definition of nepo-baby.

Y’all hating. I like Dakota Johnson and just think she needs better roles sometimes. Half of Hollywood is Nepo babies so I don’t hold that against her either.
