If you are able to press your own books, it will help some of the damage,
I do not press. But only one of the three has only the indents. So 2 of 3 cannot benefit much.

Enjoy them for what they are - comics. Whine about the easy $$$ somewhere else and go find the next Spider-Boy to sell to some other suckers.

While I agree that comics are made to be enjoyed and I do enjoy a lot of comics, we mostly talk about selling comics so people do want to pass along info on what is selling and not and get disappointed when things aren’t selling that used to.

I hear what you are saying, however, we ALL know good things don’t last especially with modern comics. For those of us who are collecting the comics, it’s still all good for us.
Complaining about making less money, that the gravy train has ended, that there are too many covers actually does not one any good. It just makes people sound whiny and sad. No one needs that.
Finally got my metal in from Keenspot with damaged bottom right corner. Displays great!
Yeah. I kinda thought the purpose of this site was to let folks know the comics that are “heating up,” obviously, from a monetary standpoint.

Too expensive to get a damaged one. Have you checked to see if they can replace it?

How does a metal cover get damaged? I have never seen one, is it not actual metal?

Wait, comics heating up is about them being worth money? I though we meant literally temperate comics. I hate when it is cold while I read!

I didn’t inquire about it being replaced. For resale, it’s a bummer, but for display, it’s fine.
I’d be able to make up any losses by selling other books (whenever I choose to do so).
Flippers contributed to the value decline. 90’s were not a fun time for speculators but I sure added long term value at their expense.
