I still don’t get it. Spears work is turning out like Artgerm and such, you buy one comic of his cover art, you pretty much have them all as they’re all just starting to have the same feel to them, same look… starting to get boring if you ask me.

So many people do this though. I feel like Frison does it all the time. Also David Mack. Lots of people do very similar covers.

They do, Frison I got tired of years ago. Mack has a style but does different things within that style though to not make all his work look the same for me.

This is also why I’m really starting to appreciate (even more) the earlier Monsters covers. I think I’ll just keep buying those.
I truly wish he would slow down on what he’s putting out, but he’s got bills to pay. Can’t fault anyone for that

Momoko is the same way. When she takes her time she is fantastic, but you can tell when she is just cranking out a bunch of themed variants.

Yeah. I have not and yes. I think they were supposed to be in on that date. I don’t even remember what issue the cover was for.

This for some reason appeals to me, but I certainly don’t plan on getting it and it’s yet another C2E2 variant, exclusive, etc. This is a Comic Tom one I believe.
Not that it’s saying anything new but the extent of these convention exclusives has become absolutely absurd.
