Just hope his other kickstarter comes out on time.

He said recently on some podcast that it’s a little ahead of schedule.

Spears talks about his new kickstarter and how some monsters books may be under ordered.

This guy is starting to sound more and more like a used car salesman as time progresses.
I’m not sure if I trusted him initially; but I’m sure I no longer do.

Mark seems like a nice, humble guy.

But man, all of these Youtubers leeching off him is disgusting. Between this Qualified shit and the Beyond Wednesday guys (and whomever else…) it seems like they are sucking on his tit to get free books…

Agreed 1000%. Wish he wouldn’t associate with any of the gate keeping YouTube shills. He even listed a bunch of their names on the skull variant cover. It’s gross.

I know, right!$1,300 for the whole set and a comic. I’m having trouble finding any meat on the bone.

Waaaaaaaaaay overpriced.

I imagine it will still sell out with his popularity. Definitely pricey tho.

Just got back from Huntsville. Waited in line for 4 hours to get some books signed. Charged $20 for just “Spears” $30 for “Mark Spears” and $50 for “Mark Spears with remark”. Average wait time was 3-4 hours due to the amount of books each person was getting signed. Dude took 2 30 minute breaks in the span of 5 hours. Is this normal for artists? Never been to a Con before…

Yes. Part of the problem is 1. Scalpers take every book possible to get signed. 2. Non-scalpers will sit and talk, tell stories, and otherwise engage the artist instead of just getting books signed.

As for the breaks that is fairly normal.
