Mark Spears Covers

I had a chance to when Headless Horseman first came out and many times when it sat on the shelf. I am pretty sure my lcs had it in back stock but need to ask.

Snagged the 5 dollar ebay copy in Sept they are referring to on the same day you posted. Thanks for the heads up!

I predict the Spawn '77 books will be the slowdown in the Mark Spears buying frenzy.

You might be right. I think we’ll see a hint of the slowdown with Monsters #3. Don’t see those covers going for much above cover for quite sometime.

However, as much as everyone seems to be waiting for the collapse of the Mark Spears market, I get the sense there are still many people out there not as attuned to the market that are going to be discovering him for the next year, so I’m bullish he’s still going to have some big hits here and there.

Modern Comics Heating Up (Those With Potential Too) (Part 2)

i mentioned the Horseman cover, that’s gonna be a tough one if you didn’t pre-order

Also, I hope you all have supported his kickstarter. Me thinks you’ll have regrets come this time next year if you didn’t.

I missed the first one, in on the second one and the Thundercats omnibus bonus comics.

My copy arrived today. Alas, without a mole…

At least I can start reading this now. I really want the ASM 129 homage though…but it sold out by the time I came to that realization….they were still selling for $20 days ago…

I am half tempted to sell the 2nd print cover I have still. I have some #2’s that haven’t moved but had some #1’s that stuck around until issue 2 came out so I am thinking the 3rd issue will cause my #2’s to sell.

Heh… #2

Sold the Thundercats 1:15, 1:10 and one of the FoC covers this weekend.

I see he added even more covers to his Kickstarter project today if you’re interested.

Can someone photoshop Mark’s face over Kirkman’s face milking the cow?

He has a loooong way to go before he is at the same level as Kirkman…But yeah, lots of covers.

On a not so side note. His Return of the Living Dead (publisher variant) is selling pretty sell on the American Mythology web site. They raised the price to $40 per and only have 54 left. I haven’t seen any store variants for issue #1 listed anywhere so that could be a good pickup with 250 printed. Even at $40 I still think there will be some meat left on the bone for profit.

I don’t like what the hawk on the logo is about to do to that guy’s junk.

That one isn’t doing much for me…
