Hoping it’s a new character but I did pick up a few possibilities to cover as many bases as I can. The way they left it in 26 it sounds like someone from the past we will know.
I invested in a spec book for the mystery virus guy too. I believe it was MonopolyJ who turned me onto the book. 
You don’t need a black light for that…It glows on its own (shudder).

Its funny because I just found out about it when I read about it on the forum. I do not know a Justin, I do know Mike, but saying we are best friends is a bit of a stretch. Needless to say, CHU had nothing to do with the Sketch post.
But it is upsetting that my name is being dragged into something that had nothing to do with me or the site. Plently of people visit the site. Just because someone has messaged me in the past doesn’t make them my best friend. Just because someone visits the site doesn’t make them my best friend. I have messaged with hundreds of people over the years, and cannot be held accountable for anyone’s actions but my own, and Poyo’s.

Uhh… yeah. Why would anyone that runs a popular site set themselves up for something like that, cause ya know it’s gonna backfire? So yes, most know Mike Cunningham from CHU, is he Justin, don’t know, don’t care. Joke/prank gone bad… and I already called the sketches a hoax on the main site in my Spec and Drek earlier today when I discovered the rumors from people’s comments. I mean, come on… anyone with any ounce of common sense knows they’re not gonna just stick sketches in books without securing them with a polybag or something. Sniffed hoax when I saw the first comment…
I met James Haick 3 times now at NYCC, he even signed some books for me… I guess we’re best friends now right?
Well that’s sucks the book will be folded in 4 shipped in a white letter envelope with a stamp since your order only has one book.
This hoax is a shame and it’s also a shame that someone is trying to bring CHU into it.
But I do understand why it was believable at first to a point. They did do 20 random Bagley sketches in the back cover of Absolute Carnage 1. Those were not bagged or marked in any way from a regular copy.
Lol. Sadly yes. I just had returns on my Negan Lives copies that came in. I ordered two. One to read and one to stash.
Except those were on the inside cover. This apparently was loosely inserted.
Ahh I didn’t realize the original story said loosely inserted. My apologies. Yes that would never happen as could be too easily removed or fall out.
I only ordered one copy of the Wednesday Variant in hopes it was gonna be the other cover and TFAW was limiting them to 1 per… and I’m on the once a month shipment plan with TFAW so they have to use real cardboard to ship… so I’ll see my copy probably in 3 weeks…
Not sure it said “loosely inserted” but the picture I saw showed one lying in the centerfold and it didn’t seem attached
I’ll be all your friends and if you need me to go argue with whatever other comic site let me know I probably already have in the past.
