Whaaaaaaaaaat. What a disappointment from DC
If they werent legally required to make it, it wouldve been shelved forever ago. wasted a decade plus on this game and its just boring. most of the combat revolves around controlling the ship but theres no boarding ships or on foot combat
Within a week, this crap nosedived…(told ya)… muwhahahaha !
I dont feel bad…at all…for anyone who paid $80+ for this. You fools !
I found one at an online shop for $20, so I’m pleased. Into my Moon Knight shortboxes it shall go!
But, that’s most modern spec. Get it fast, sell it fast, get rich and move to the Bahamas. OK. I haven’t figured out those last two parts yet, but I’ve been pretty successful at the first two.
Unfortunately, “fast” used to be a few weeks, (roughly).
Now “fast” is a few days.
That window is sooooo reduced that it’s gotten to the point one needs to take pictures while still in the store and put on Ebay if you want to profit. Not good times.
I’ve done that. Well, sort of. I’ve posted via my car, and had it sold before I got home.
Yep… you have to be able to target the remaining noodniks in the hobby who still can’t control themselves.
And there’s far far far less of them than there was pandemic timeframe.
Reminds me back in the day, I was listing items almost immediately after checking out at a NYCC booth only to sell before I got to the next booth I was going to.
That’s insanely fast!
The moon knight one per store is sitting where one per’s usually are at release.
I don’t like the 1-per-stores, because fans almost never get them for cover. The stores usually list them for market value before release. In this case it was listed much higher than usual.
I think this is nothing to ridicule, because that’s not typically what happens with one-pers. They usually get listed by stores for $30
Marvel did not get delivered this week to my LCS, so I’m out!
I asked my LCS about this book, they said they ordered it but never got it, and said many spots were shorted, meaning they will get it in the future, meaning a lot of stores are starting to get their copies finally…
Did I just say… “meaning…” several times?
OH well.
I’m starting to see the trend downwards on the Dave Stevens books. I love them, don’t get me wrong, but there are, for the most part, a gazillion of these books out there & they’ve been hoarded for years. There are certainly a few exceptions with some of the rarer items but generally speaking. Not to mention those sent off for grading that are returning.
Anyway, if you wanted them… it’s becoming a bit better of a time to look again.
Everything ebbs and flows for sure. Right now everyone can’t grab enough Dr. Doom or Iron Man stuff. Give it a few weeks, it’ll shift.
This
Do you guys remember this?
I just bought this set from a seller. Had it on my watchlist and seller offered the full set of 1-5 NM first prints for $15. Shipping was $12 to Canada which is more than reasonable.
I had sold so many copies of issue 1 and 5 for $45 to $60 each back a few years ago when they were red hot. I might have even sold issues 2-4 for $10-15 each.
I was always saddened that I sold all my copies and never kept any as I loved that original series. It’s not worth anything now as there have been no updates on the option news but I’m happy to buy these back at $15 for the full 5 issue set of first prints. Happy to have this back in my collection.
That is an all-timer series. I still have a pile of those. They made two colossal mistakes with that series. When it was so red hot, the creators took forever to put out volume 2. Wasn’t it a year?! All momentum had been lost.
Mistake 2: Volume 2 was terrible. Ugh.
I still have all the issues of volume 2 as I had it on my pull list. Read the first issue and thought it was terrible. Didn’t have the charm of the first series. When I read the CHU reviews where everyone said the rest of the series was terrible I didn’t bother reading the rest
Man, the creators really botched this. They had something very promising in their hands.
