Just pretend v2 never happened. Volume 1 is still so good. $15 + shipping is fantastic for that run if for nothing else but to re-read.
I did some freelance promotions stuff for an exclusive seller at the time before he ghosted. He did some really fun covers for the first vol. I still have a few of issue 3 and 4 if anyone wants to trade for something.
He also did this foil one, which was blazing hot. Sold all 300 in a minute or two.
Those were fun comic days.
All those Taylor Swift as Dazzler or Lady Deadpool homage-style comics are dead in the water for now.

With the decision to let their one hot property wither on the vine for a year, yeah, it doesn’t surprise me that Aftershock died.

That’s just a silly sale in general. The book was consistently worth more pre-pandemic, during pandemic, post-pandemic, and post Acolyte.
He’s still the only pre-Skywalker Sith that has direct ties to the original trilogy. I’d buy 100 copies at $5/each right now in a heartbeat lol.

Tbh this only ever heated up because the same group of people were pumping the hell out of it both pre and post FOC.

I think most variants drop in price. Heat waves. But I am fine. I sold my copy and made my money off it.
I’m glad I did not buy it for $45 to flip. Had a bad feeling about it.
Move on to the next book.

My LCS still has a stack of the variant cover with the claw hand. I was out of town on vacation and missed the cover A. But if I had it in my pull box, I would have missed the higher sales price anyways by the time I got back (only a week later, lol) so on to the next one for me. If spec starts dropping one week later in price like this book, that kind of tells you about its future.
