It is a long term hold now. I bet in thirty to forty years it will be considered a major key… I’ll probably be dead by then, but what can ya do.

On the flip side, if you are a young collector and have extra spending money now would a good time to get some books that used to be considered up and coming major keys in 9.8 on the cheap. Low risk for many at this point even if they have to be held on to for a while. First Aphra, is dirt cheap right now and even first Miles in 9.8 can be had under a grand with 9.6 copies selling less than $400.

Tis a reason why I don’t bank on any collectibles like comics or toys to fund my retirement. Most of the time, I’ll probably be long dead before they’re worthy to sell…

Lost 1/3 of its value on 2 months.

So hear me out…if absolute Batman was to remain on this trajectory…losing 33% of its value every 2 months…it would be a $11 book by this time next year (raw).

End of May = $83
End of July = $56
End of Sept = $37
End of Nov = $25
End of Jan = $16
End of Feb = $11

See you in 365 days!

It’s gonna end up like the first Snyder reboot with New 52 Batman #1 me thinks…

Geiger 80pg Giant has seriously cooled down. May be a decent time to consider picking up a Hitch cover?

I only have one copy and I have been holding it as a long term hold. This is just my opinion but I feel like outside of the “full time comic world”, nobody knows anything about the Ghost Machine characters or books. All it will take is a movie or streaming series that is good, and those books could go nuclear in price compared to where they are. I’m holding Rook, Redcoat, and Geiger hoping for these to pay off in the future. We’ll see. Either I’m right or I’ve got dollar bin fodder in the making and have missed the flipping window. Worth the gamble since I got all the #1’s and keys for cover.

I’ve been selling most of my extra copies here and there to keep funding the hobby….not going to be left holding the bag.

But there are some I’ve been stashing away as I keep finding them cheap (cover or less).…like a Geiger #6 cover A (1st Junkyard Joe). I keep finding NM+ copies for cover…I think it’s down to a $15 or less…and JJ is on the cover (close up). Nope nope nope. Given how well the JJ series consistently sells…that book has too much potential to let them go for cheap.
