Anybody want to guess the print run on White Sky 1?

I was able to pull two since I buy pretty much every Star Wars book from my shop. Be interesting to see if this does anything. Been a while for a Star Wars book.
Closer to 20-25k if I had to guess. Very few stores are ordering more than a small handful of a book like that.
Yeah, I’d think that’s right. I think Saga was 30k and it was hyped at the time. Granted, market was different, but I don’t think there was much hype to White Sky to justify shops ordering a bunch
ya i just dont think many store would even order 5. Some zero if they had no preorders. No hype. No big creators. Image has #1s come out every week and most never catch any heat.
I don’t have a LCS anymore after moving twice the past 2 years, so I do not run around anymore on Wednesday. I used to have like 5 shops that that I would visit at least once a month. I checked out 2 shops about a half hour away, but they are not even like real comic shops. Anyway, I had pre-order 2 copies of the White Sky#1. I probably sell at least one of them right away when I get it.

No; I thought it would be interesting for us to guess and see who’s closest when we get the official numbers. I’m going with 25,000.

My LCS still has two stacks of Bleeding Hearts cover A. They even had some foils left too. Only the Dragotta card stock cover C was sold out. And this is one week later after release.

Yeah I haven’t had any luck with shops I called. Out of 10+, only one shop has me down for 3 copies but who knows what will actually happen since I didn’t pre-order through them. Especially if they end up getting lots of calls from people looking for it. They aren’t the type of shop to mark up but they may end up pulling just 1 copy for me if it gets super hot.
That said, I was sure that I didn’t pre-order any copies but I just double checked and I did in fact order some through MCS. And now I remember why. @monopolyjackson posted the 3rd print in the reprint topic on January 30th (I checked) and FOC was like 2 or 3 days later, so a really short window to order which also probably factored into my decision to order copies being that the 1st and 2nd prints sell so well.

That was fast. I sold my two A copies of White Sky already. I have one more and a blank yet.

I’ve been following one seller that had 14 copies asking $50. Basically controlling the ceiling. Has 8 left. I assume he would raise the price as stock gets low as well.
