So aside from my one copy of white sky that’s supposed to ship out to me, I stopped by a shop I never go to. Got one copy each of white sky 1A, Jeff meets daredevil jaws variant (which doesn’t seem to be doing anything on the bay) and a death fight forever cover B just because @Anthony said to. Got the last copies of all of these. No cover A on death fight. They had a cover b of white sky but they said it was reserved for someone.
Sold out now. MCS is a dirty flipper!

No copies on ebay (in the US). So taking a chance and wiped out a shop ive never ordered from before. Cost me $21 shipped….it was pay $9 shipping whether it was 1 or 3 books…so at $3.99 might as well grab all three.
@anthony keeps throwing books out there and I keep buying them, lol.
But paying $9’shipping is still better than wasting time driving and paying fo gas. I’m really saving money if you think about it. 
My LCS is getting crazy as well, used to be Wednesday mornings it was only me and maybe another guy waiting for open. This morning the entire parking lot was full I had to park down the street and walk, this was before it even opened. This has been steadily happening over the last month or so but today was the worst I’ve seen it (if you count packed Wednesday mornings as a bad thing). There was still a White Sky 1A on the rack but I had it in my pull so left it there.
I know my LCS is fairly shocked with the Wednesday morning crowd and the regulars are grumbling about over crowding, so just based on the most anecdotal evidence, it appears that comic books are actually becoming more popular?

Some retailers are complaining on one of the retailer forums I’m on. Most of them said they didn’t order any D’orc or White Sky and didn’t understand why it was popular and it was manipulation, speculators, yada yada yada… I pre-ordered 3 of each because I thought the story sounded interesting and gave it a shot…

Put a copy up for $45. Sold in 13 minutes.
I’m finally in the game.
Twice today I put one up at $40 and immediately second guessed myself…and took it back down. Figured now that I had 3 secured I could put my toe in.

Titans 30 continues to sit unsold but one ended on bids for more than I have mine listed for at BIN. Odd.
I sold my copy…but had to drop it to $25.
Shop owners not having good instincts on this stuff and blaming speculators is funny. I don’t pull a ton, but I had 4 copies of Dorc pulled and ready to go. And a couple White Sky copies.
I’m trying to give my shops a little heads up when I see these things. Like the Conan the Barbarian #25 2nd print that’s limited to 1500 copies. That seems like a title with a good following, but it’s Titan, so the print run probably isn’t massive. Feels like a safe one to order a few.

I’m in the same boat as you @BatmanFan. My copy does not even have any views and it’s priced lower than most on ebay. And I’ve been selling books, including 2 yesterday, so I thought my listings may creep up to reach more people.
Called around today asking for the death to pachuco gonzo variant. Got one waiting for me. Mainly though I’ve been calling around trying to reserve copies of all in special #1 3rd print. Not one shop was able to guarantee copies. Most said they didn’t order any and it’s backordered in the system.
There’s a real epidemic going on in collectibles in general at the moment. Comics, Pokemon, One Piece, Dragonball, sports cards…they’re all experiencing collector AND flipper “cross movement”. There are these random sharp flareups happening in all these markets but they seem to be super short term in nature (unlike 2021). The TCG folks are jumping into comics, while the comics folks are jumping into TCGs. This goes on for a few months and then there seems to be a pull back (based on how Pokemon has been going), but I’m sensing that it’s going to go through a few cycles. It’s crazy.

I got White Sky A and a sketch today from my LCS. They sold within minutes of listing. I have one more A I’m holding for a day or two, I left too much money on the table with D’Orc so I’m trying to hopefully “average up” with my sales.

Listed my White Sky for $1 less than the lowest copy on eBay, sold before I got the email notice that my listing was live.
