Yes, I believe you would be wise to pick them up and wait for their value to grow.
Sell to all the suckers willing to pay your price. Thats my advice.
Donât hold any.
Iâm not sure Iâd hold either, but⊠I sold a lot of Absolute Bat 1st prints for a lot less than theyâre going for now. ![]()
If you can wait a bit, throw the lot up for $50 with Best Offer and see what happens? Maybe it continues to grow, or you have the flexibility to cash out whenever.
Itâs pretty well documented in this forum that everyone here has sold absolute books for profit way below their peak. Probably not the best place to ask for spec advice on absolute books ![]()
Sell. Thereâs no catching fire here.
No one could have predicted that the Absolute Batman craze would have lasted 20+ issues. I mean, my buy in is $5 here, so thereâs no risk in holding. But, I HAVE to believe the end of the craze is closer than the beginning.
I say hold. I also bought my copies for cover. Once 1st episode of the Animated series airs, thatâs when you want to offload (if you want too) lol.
Iâm holding my copy of #1A until itâs dollar bin fodderâŠfor spite.
Updated the hunt list.
I also took the extra step in highlighting new entries for those who are mostly interested in more recent hot books.
I was just out digging somewhere today and noticed that. Thanks.
You should open a spite store like Larry David
Haha that coffee shop he had.
Mocha Joe was such a dildo
How many of those New 52 books have held any value? Few and far between is the correct answer. Absolute Universe isnât any different. No real long term hold values imo. Alternate versions of long established characters rarely maintain that FOMO value. If youâre making money off them, sell them.
to thisâŠ
Batman #1 New 52 saw highs how high again? Just checked, seems like on average now this is a $30 to $40 book now⊠far from itâs peak value.
If you got Absolute Batman #1 sitting around with extra copies, now is the time to sell I sayâŠ
Yeah, but new 52 was never announced for Animation. Soooooo⊠![]()
But ânew 52â already has live action adaptationsâŠ
Superman movie
Court of Owls in GOTHAM
Im sure there are othersâŠ
