I thought about sending a few things to CBCS just to get them back quickly. I have a signed Thor god of thunder 2 with them right now that’s my first submission to them. I really only tried them for the signature verification.
Modern turnaround time at CGC right now is 80 days…
I learned yesterday there is a significant influx of CBCS submissions already.
I have to assume these are folks who migrated from CGC for whatever their reason is. (I know what my reasons are).
I wonder if this will ultimately reflect now on CBCS’ TAT.
I’m inclined to believe it will.
Isn’t Twilight written for pre teens? I wouldn’t expect Mark Twain level writing from a novel written for pre teens. 
I believe so but it seemed as most of the audience ended up being 30 to late 40 year old women… I think it was so awful even the tweens didn’t even like it.
Quick lookup states it was targeted for those 12 and up… yet they coined the term “Twimoms” who seemed to love the series of novels more than the adolescents it was written for.
Can someone explain this to me?

Well, my latest order has sat at CGC for 30 days and isn’t listed at “received” yet. I fast passed them with no press…at the time TAT was about 4-6 weeks with fast pass…now it’s up to 2 months WITH FAST PASS…and that’s after they open the box and enter them into the system when the TAT clock stars…and here’s what the site says now:
“ Now opening comic book submissions delivered the week of April 12, 2021.”
They are just getting to opening submissions from mid April…so you send a book in now…it’ll sit there for nearly 2 months…then at best take 2 more months to be graded IF you opt for no pressing and fast pass. 4 months TAT with fast pass is pretty ridiculous for moderns.
POint being you are not getting books back 80 days upon arrival even with a fast pass from CGC. So that’s very misleading.
This is the same guy who told me to just relax and enjoy King in Black even though Knull never made sense.
Yeah I have a box I’m assuming is sitting somewhere in their warehouse, because its not marked on their website even. I guess I will get them back sometime before Christmas hopefully?

Be patient and wait for TAT to go down.
There’s no way in hell Id send books to them, for them to just sit in a box for months before being graded. So many factors come into play for damages…
SUPPOSEDLY they changed it recently so now the TAT starts once the package is delivered to their facility, not once the package is opened. I personally don’t buy it, I’m still waiting on two books from the Eastman signing that had an advertised “six week turnaround time with pressing.”
The shitty actor who played Quicksilver? Definitely no longer excited about the Kraven movie. What a crappy choice.

Tbh I’ve only ever seen him in the MCU movies. What else has he been in that’s good? I’m willing to watch it.
I’ve only seen him in Godzilla and the Kick-Ass movies. He and Elizabeth Olsen were in Godzilla and were married in that movie.
I just really, really hope they do Kraven justice. Such a deep, dark character. He can’t be rushed. It’s a character that must be developed to provide insight into his actions.
I know people had varied views on the Joker movie…but that was an extraordinary job of giving us the background of why a person can become unsettled (to put it mildly).
It’s a huge test…it will either be amazing or an utter turd. I don’t see a happy medium with Kraven.
He was just in tenet. I think he’s a good actor and I’m hoping Sony doesn’t fumble this one. I thought Venom was hilariously bad and morbius looks bad
