Anyone speccing on the new Ewoks? Star Wars spec is garbage, but nostalgia is strong with this one.
I picked up a few copies of the 1st issue, havenāt really looked at any of the other releases.
What I would potentially spec on is if any of the characters introduced in the Marvel Star series were to be re-introduced. But even that Iām not specāing onā¦
So bleedingstool is reporting that Robert Kirkman had a private call with retailers detailing his plans for Starscream in the Energon universe starting in issue 13 and urging them to keep the secret. Rich Johnston is bitching that he was not invited to the call
As a result retailers ordered 100k+ copies. We thought it might be because of the new Transformer Genvo but it appears they have bigger plans and it revolves around Starscream.
Keep an eye out for the Starscream cover. Could sneak up on us.

The spoiler covers were āspoiledā before FOC. So Iām not sure what they are spoiling just yet. I do like cover A and probably will grab one and because I canāt wait to see what it reveals (I ended up ordering the FOC H cover that had what I think is a new character featuredā¦not many online shops offered it).
Thereās a 1:50 spoiler that offers up nothing as wellā¦other than Megatron holding a super energon cubeā¦
I donāt know about garbage, but I would certainly put Star Wars keys and spec books in the long hold category right nowā¦good time to buy some of those keys, though.
