That’s what I’m doing. I told my LCS to hold every Bad Idea comic for me as it comes out. Got Tankers and Whalesville on the way. Will see if I like it or not, if I don’t it’s an easy flip to pay for the weeks comics, stuff that I really want.
I’m not going to play the hunting game with the Wednesday warriors because most of the hot books will never be on the shelf that day. Best to tell your LCS to hold for you. I have a great relationship with my LCS guy and he always holds whatever hot books I ask for even if I ask for multiple copies (in advance) and it’s always there (like this week’s BRZKZR 1 2nd print, the Rise, etc)
I need to remember his birthday and to get him something extra special for Christmas.

149,710 ordered. issue #2 dropped to like 29k, that’s why the #1 2nd print is such a ghost

Geigers are selling fast. This thing may take off in a few months if the story is really good. No ratio incentives really help to keep the print run down. Nocterra is great too but not moving because there is a billion available.

Ordered the one per variant. I looked thru every last one. Nearest comic store is 100 miles away, so only option is Ebay. What’s bad is the back covers all have ink stain or some kind of smear down the spine on the back, on them. If every single issue has the ink, then it’s going to be interesting to see how CGC handles them. The thing that’s interesting is what’s going to be the next big thing for AMC to jump on ? I’ve watch TWD since it came out. Have read up thru 4 online, and had at one time a #3 and #19 which I’ve sold. Knew the series would have to end sometime. It’s about 1 of 2 shows I still watch.
