I went to a flea market today and found some comics for $1 to $3 each. I finally found the Origin series out in the wild for my collection. I paid $18 for that. I then picked up the Bad Idea Hank Howard, Pizza Detective: Caligula’s Safe comic from my LSC today.

Thanks. A guy purchased a collection and most of them were priced high. I think they were priced already. He didn’t know too much about modern comics or the movies. The Origin ones were not priced and he said $3 to 1st issue that I found.

This does not include pre-orders though… But I love the Venom Movie news as I’ve been moving all my remaining copies of Spider-Man Unlimited #1… they almost sell as fast as I list them… 
I finally did it guys! Found a fresh batch of books in the wild. Feels like I finally lost my virginity and can finally share the joy with y’all. Spider-man is $4, Hulks $4, Punisher War Zone $1.50, Moon Knight $4. SIKTC and Invincible are LSCD foils (cover price). Camelot 3000 is $1 CAD (0.70 USD), disgraceful that this Bolland gem is in the dollar bin (looks like it’s a 9.8 too). Really happy about that one. All other books are cover price.

Felt like back issues were drying up at my LCS (though I did find Moon Girl 7 there) so I went to another nearby shop for the first time in a long time.

That Invincible #99 cover is sweeeeet.
Forgive me as I only ever read the first 20 or so issues, why is issue #99 important for, “Invincible,” as I don’t know why?
As far as I’m aware, there’s no 1st appearances/origins, no major deaths, no major plot/story arc things that would suggest it’s a key issue. Every page is a full-page splash page – which I found kind of cool – but I don’t think that makes it important; I have no idea. 
I grabbed a copy of Force Awakens 2 and 3 to beef up my stock of first appearances of Tasu Leech and Grummgar, respectively.
Twin Engines of Destruction is not Jodo Kast’s first appearance but it’s a sought after and desirable printing of this story.
Grabbed Galaxy’s edge because an early Hondo Ohnaka cover can’t hurt.
Bounty Hunters 12 for that Caviness Thorn first appearance.
And finally some River of Chaos because, you know what? I actually did not own these before. Who knew?!

Been eyeing Twin Engines for a long time…never seem to get a good deal with online.

This one was $6 at the LCS. A little cringe-worthy at that price when I know it’s not the first appearance. It seems buyers don’t universally know that on the Bay though.
