I am seeing a lot of sales on Clandestine #1 since the newest episode stated they are Djinn also known as the Clandestine. Numerous sales on eBay.

This is by far my favorite Disney+ series not including the Netflix stuff they added from Netflix. Daredevil was the shit!!

I have to agree that I’ve found it to be pretty entertaining. I’m not the biggest Ms. Marvel fan to begin with from a comic perspective but I have nothing against it. Not likely aimed at me and that’s cool.
I think the acting, enthusiasm, personal interactions among characters is hands down some of the best I’ve seen in a show. I feel like I’m truly getting to know the family and that lends myself to caring about them.
I was hoping maybe Bruno would be heading off to school at M.I.T versus Cal Tech…thought perhaps he would end up meeting/studying alongside Riri? I know little about Bruno from the comics…he’s just a boy genius similar to Riri, Shuri, Amadeus Cho—is that right?

I am glad they found an actress who really cares about the character. Disney+ has a behind the scenes video about the actress- she cosplayed as Kamala Khan years ago And read all the comics. She is a genuine fan and I think it shows in her performance.

The story has just been OK for me, but it’s really been a great education on Pakistani culture and the Partition of India. It’s led me to read more about the subject and the tragedy that went with it, including how it led to Ghandi’s assassination.
I had a similar reaction when I saw the Watchmen on HBO - with the Tulsa race massacre. Our public schools just didn’t teach this stuff when I was a kid. We were fed stories like Washington not lying about cutting down a cherry tree (likely not true). I have no idea if they do now, since I don’t have kids.

This show has had one good episode which was last week. If Brie Larson doesn’t show up in the finale tonight this show was a huge waste and disappointment.
