NBA 2019-2020 Chatter and Discussion

How many were during your viewing lifetime though. You hate “seeing the same teams in the finals” but 16 of those 17 titles were before 1987. I Know you are old, but you aren’t THAT old. I assume you started watching BBall in the late 80s.

Warriors, Spurs, and Bulls won most of those titles in the last 30 years.

Heat have been in the NBA finals 6 times in the last 15 years.

Celtics have been in 2 NBA finals in the last 33 years.

I actually started watching NBA when I was around 5 with my dad. So I saw a few Celtics championships.

Doesn’t matter if I’ve seen them or not… I just like seeing more teams that have a) never been to finals or b) never won a title actually go and win.

Russell Westbrook grouped up with the King and The Brow!! :sunny: :palm_tree: :trophy:

You mean… ball hog teamed up with them… I can’t win on my own so I must team up with a bunch of other all-stars…

Nets just proved a bunch of all-stars don’t necessarily mean you’re gonna win it all either.

Westbrook did not demand the trade, and the Nets were so close to advancing but injuries held them back. Yea, I know, injures are part of the game. Extremely excited to see what the Lakers will do this next upcoming season.

We spent zero time talking ‘bout my Bucks. Sorry, world champion Bucks.

Still can’t believe that actually happened.

As a WVU alum and huge Knick fan, I’m pretty excited to see McBride go from Morgantown to Madison Square Garden.

That’s because no one outside of Wisconsin cares…

I’m in Minnesota. Does that count? Probably not.

Suppose to be a Wolves fan…

The Lakers acquired Russell Westbrook. If everyone stays healthy, my dream brackets would be a Lakers vs. Golden State Warriors Western Final; a Brooklyn Nets vs. Milwaukee Bucks Eastern Final, and then a Lakers vs. Nets Final. Enjoyed the 2021 Finals, but was surprised that the Bucks won; the Suns seemed so much more balanced. The match up though lacked some oomph.

Grew up in Green Bay, WI, so I’m a Wisconsin sports fan from head to toe. MN sports is, well, enjoyably poor.

How about the Bulls AYO was an amazing second-round steal he should’ve been in the top25 but I’m Happy!!
