Not much excitement out there this week? No one Wednesday Warrioring it?
51 is doing well. Not many cover B listed. No idea how heavily it was ordered.
Hit up only two shops today and to be honest, I wasn’t really looking for doing a lot of quick flips. Kinda burned out from the last 3 weeks.
One shop had 51 #1 (Cover B), D’orc #2, and Tigress Empire #1 and they were all limit 1 per customer. The other shop I stopped at didn’t have any of those books.
Was interested in finding History of the DC Universe: Dakota Incident #1 but no one had it.
Ended up getting one book this week, Absolute Batman #18 1:25 for $14.
Anyone read Beneath the Trees last issue from last week? Highly recommend it if you haven’t. Made me go out and purchase online #1 1st print of the original series just to have (only had a 3rd printing up to that point).

I sat out this week. Watching how fast books had to be flipped last week and their current prices, I didn’t want to waste the gas. Prices for new Indies aren’t like what people did with D’Orc and White Sky. You could see the fall off the next round with Ted and Murder Drones. After that, I think the frenzy of Nectar wore some of us out. I’m not getting stuck with a flash in the pan one week (or day) Indie #1. Everyone on earth is now looking to buy up any Indie #1 each week. Once the masses catch on, the trend is almost over.
Edit: I just checked eBay and you can pretty much get Nectar 1 A and Tigress Island 1A for about $24-25 shipped. So to move a copy, you either have to undercut that or have some real compelling reason to make someone pay more for your copy. That’s what I’m not interested in playing. No thanks. At those prices you make about $7-8 max depending on how much shipping you have to eat. Undercutting that is basically a big hassle to make $3-5 and isn’t worth it to me.

I still have copies left of Ted and Lowther and a small stack of Bleeding Hearts. And for that reason, I’m out.

Out of three shops just one copy of tigress cover c. The other two did not have tigress or 51. Sold tigress at 15. One shop had about 15 copies of new history. MCs has a 6 dollar listing on eBay. Hope those go fast. I’ve sold two copies at 18-19 though.
Spent $144 today in comics. Have made back $158 back with all my weekly books (5 horror magazines included) and still have more comics to sell. So in the profit range for the week.

I didn’t feel great this morning. Took a brief middday nap while the kiddos were at school and that helped. Was just really cold. I mean, it was 80 degrees yesterday and 47 degrees today, maybe my body was just confused and tired. But yeah, I stopped by only one shop close to the house and it lacked anything that got hot.

I don’t buy the current Spider titles but try to keep up with what’s going on and Paul has got to be the most unanimously despised character in all of Marvel, poor guy lol
Sort of like Jason Todd. I bet the plan is to kill him and resurrect him as a villain…then he’ll be beloved.
