A bunch of those foils look completely washed out to the point where you can barely even see the cover art. I don’t know if it’s MyComicshop’s scan’s or if that’s the way the comic really looks. If it is the latter… yikes.
And finally, that Nakayama Power Girl that is just an awful anatomical piece of art on its own; is doubly awful in a foil that highlights that goofy head

I really don’t know what people are looking at or what they see.
Or maybe, that is the rub - that it is so ugly it’s like staring at a train wreck & everyone wants it because it’s so damn ugly.
I understand artwork is subjective. And I understand everyone has flavors of art they enjoy. But this is just erroneously anatomically messed up.
It’s shiny, maybe?
The only thing I can think of is maybe people are thinking she will make it to the big screen and limited, high ratio covers will be at a premium when that happens.
