TBO, this variant was priced at $140+ on Ebay from the first seller on. No organic growth.
MCS saw the price and undercut the sellers.

I pulled the trigger on The Blade #2 1:25 for $55 from MCS. I watched EBay all day hoping someone would list a cheaper BIN but it didn’t happen. I hate giving in to FOMO.

After taxes and shipping id pay about $65. eBay prices are fomo prices…so $65 is a bit risky for new HR Star Wars characters which are a dime a dozen these days and going for $75.
I preder waiting this one out…and grab it for closer to ratio in a few months or so. Or just move on to the next shiny object.

I decided to allow fomo on this one. I also bought the Blade #2 on MCS with a few other books I had in my cart. I usually never pay over ratio for a brand new book, and it has been a while since I have done so. All other stores I went to online or brick and mortar were either sold out or had them for around $75. Prices on Ebay are now pushing $85 (for now) and one online store I visit raised their $75 to over $100.
I figure there is a 50/50 chance it will at least hold for what I paid. It might go down some, but I doubt it will see ratio or lower at this point. Never know though…
Just a heads up it seems MCS had to shut the warehouse cause of bad weather via an update notice on the website.

Some good prices there. I’ve noticed High Republic #5 1:25 is selling well on Ebay. Not for tons, but still selling well, so at $15 I did get another one along with the Santos 1:25 as well as a few other monthly books I wanted.

A bunch of those foils look completely washed out to the point where you can barely even see the cover art. I don’t know if it’s MyComicshop’s scan’s or if that’s the way the comic really looks. If it is the latter… yikes.
And finally, that Nakayama Power Girl that is just an awful anatomical piece of art on its own; is doubly awful in a foil that highlights that goofy head

I really don’t know what people are looking at or what they see.
Or maybe, that is the rub - that it is so ugly it’s like staring at a train wreck & everyone wants it because it’s so damn ugly.
I understand artwork is subjective. And I understand everyone has flavors of art they enjoy. But this is just erroneously anatomically messed up.
