Itās not possible to search TFAW for sold out items is it? Iām trying to figure out if I missed the High Republic #5 1:25 or not. I thought I had figured out their naming scheme for the pages based on #'s 3 and 4, but itās still a dead link (the regular issue #5 is up, I just canāt find the ratio).
yeah, sold out are removed from the indexes so searching wonāt load them.
That silk virgin is nice but I dunno about $80 nice
Bummer. Makes sense (so that people arenāt nagging them about them or inventory issues or whatever), but ugh, I just want to know if I missed the item.

I think I got them all through issue #3 now but Iām not going after any more ratiosā¦ but I am buying multiples of covers now, putting together some nice sets.

The thing about this 1:100 is it has pre-sales for 2x what tfaw is selling them for, and the current asking prices are currently 2x to $100 more than the purchase price. It has sold out every time there has been a drop, so I am extremely tempted to gamble on this one.

I mentioned this in another thread that I like covers with butts on it.
I wish tfaw would improve their shipping process. The cost is like paying for priority, yet itās shipped as slow as possible and too often their mailers get smashed in a corner. Throwing a bunch of books into a cardboard mailer just doesnāt cut it. My whole last order was smashed in the corners.
I havenāt had any issues with TFAW shipping damages but when I do break down the costs itās not that great a deal. Iām going to try and get my local shop to give me a 15-20% discount and itās going to end up being cheaper.
There is hands down no better ordering system than theirs and the incentive prices are still the best.
