It’s an easily adaptable hero’s tale. It doesn’t surprise me.
I watched this years ago. Enjoyed it. Big strides since early Kung Fu movies. Another good watch is “Kung Fu Hustle”. Intro is pretty wicked.

yea something is going on with the site. All those cart drops from yesterday still show available right now but are sold out. Poor Tfaw man. They are having a bad few months
I’ve never got confirmation from Brendon but I think they’re running a Java based site with a JAR likely… If true, Java is the worse…

All I know is it uses Magento. I don’t know what Magento uses.
Then it’s likely heavily based on PHP, which is special in of itself… but now I’m wondering why Magento needs to do so much indexing for web page updates? I know it’s likely to speed up the website to pull from an index but other shopping sites and codes seem to update and pull some or most of the fields from the DB each time without any real load issues… so you’re reading the info in real time rather than from cache or indexing.

I started to read their index management docs and am amazed at how they designed their software… then I noticed it’s Adobe, which just explains everything…
Sorry, not trying to pick on TFAW’s website as I still think you guys have the best ordering options out of anyone but that indexing is a real killer at times…
