The thing is, cart drops happen and books become available again
So, quote or reference the link, with explanation āitās back in stockāā¦ etc.
Books move quick, just trying to give readers a chance to get the books.
Understood, itās just as fast to reference the original link if all one does is going to link with a quick word of , itās available again, etc.
Why does this matter? I rarely ever scroll up looking for an old link.
Why do I care If something was previously in stockā¦I want to know what is in stock NOW.
Because thats what referencing the previously link is doing you turdā¦
Instead of scrolling through a 400 post long thread looking to see if something was previously posted so you can quote itā¦isnāt it a lot easier to just post the link fresh when itās live in stock?
By the time you waste 5-10 minutes trying to find the original post to quote itā¦the book could be gone. Many of these are cart drops with only one available. Time is of the essence.
New post or quoting an old post still adds a post. Doesnāt make it any cleaner or less posts in the thread.
Food for thought. Cheers.
But what value is it to reference what was? I donāt see the value in it versus putting more
Work on the one posting.
For example, Anthonyās post at 2 minutes old already had 5 clicks on it. I think the link in the new posts is better than quoting the original.
Unlike some sites, the search here is fabulous and its rather quick to quote or reference the existing post and link to lead the horse to water.
This is back in stock
Seeā¦ Works perfectly.
Iām trying to avoid users from just throwing links before checking cause itās going to get to the point its not even a cart drop and were getting spammed the same links over and over if users arent checking if its been posted or not.
Hopefully that makes things more clear.
Did any DC incentives load this weekend? If so, I missed them.
No. They did not.
Are they skipping a week or have they just not loaded yet?
