New Variant Ratios on TFAW

DC FOC is entered on Sunday night. Initial numbers are put in Friday and then Sunday things are increased/finalized. Not sure when they put the majority of incentives up, though.

Customer service is likely closed…

In the past Monday, the day of foc, at least for marvel incentives. Maybe this won’t change anything in when they go up.

CS and most other office based staff is off on weekends. Purchasing someone will usually log on Sunday for a few hours to finalize DC numbers.

Yeah, that’s what my hunch was. Even Amazon has customer service set hours and look how big they are. Most companies don’t do customer service on the weekends.

Sorry I said Friday, but I meant Saturday. DC locks Saturday night at midnight PT.

Marvel/the rest locks Sunday at midnight now. So I assume everything will lock with DC now On Saturday night.

Meh…doesn’t have the same cachet as the allocation meme

Yeah but still necessary I think…

Appreciate the info. Will be trial and error for the first few go’s I guess. Thanks.

Don’t bother paying for the extra shipping, imo. It’s going to be late regardless.

I don’t have a choice

They could fit my order in a $20 prepaid priority box every month but instead force me to pay for 2 day fed ex at 4x the price because I live in Hawaii even though last I checked USPS delivers to Hawaii.

I can only imagine. Their cheapest shipping is always like $20 for me, when it should be half that.

Contact customer service please. Let’s get back on topic of New Variant Ratios.

2 day shipping stuff SHOULD still ship relatively fast. There’s a separate express printer for orders with expedted/express shipping options that gets top priority each day. If it’s been that long for a 2 day fedex I would contact CS for sure because it sounds like it might have gotten missed or got stuck in the printing queue or something.

Flat rate things don’t work well with the shipping system we have from what I’ve heard. The dimensions provided for comics aren’t always right, and picking a priority flat rate option for pre-orders couldn’t work because if it goes over the size then there’s issues.

Improving the shipping methods/system/choices is near the top of the list for things we’re working on after some of the current warehouse issues/improvements. Likely going away from very specific rate table pre-order selections (like FedEx 2 Day) and just offering options for things like ā€œEconomy (5-10 business days) / Expedited (2-4 business days) / Overnightā€ and giving more freedom to the people packing to pick the most sensible option that works for that speed.

I’ve never had a order take more than 3 days to process with 2 day shipping until now.

Definitely sounds like a printer issue or something that happened with the physical packing slip, then. PM me the order number and I can at least send that to the warehouse and let them know to check if it printed right.
