That’s how Scout has been doing the cover B’s for a while now. It’s unlockable at 10/15/25 and then it’s open order. TFAW sells them at ratio, but others like MCS and Midtown list them at cover.

I can’t find this anywhere for under $40-$49, most bundles are $49. Midtown doesn’t have it, or it’s not listed on their site. TFAW had it for $7.99, looking at Flipbay sold auctions are around the $40 mark.

Eat the rich #1 1:25 is the blood red cvr and the 1:50 is the blood red foil stamped cvr, correct? What is the Tong virgin? A 1:100? I can see tfaw screwing up these variants.

Tong virgin looks to be the unlockable/one per store. Virgin version of cover A.
I haven’t seen anything above the 1:50, don’t think there is a 1:100.

Maybe they send the person negotiating exclusives into package books?! Maybe they’ll get them processed in shorter than 3 weeks.
I’ve heard they are having a bad heat wave and can’t fully staff the warehouse because of it.
We have those here in Central Texas year round… time for TFAW to install some A/C units… or perhaps work at night when it’s not as hot!

Their area is definitely not prepared for this kind of weather. In addition, AC units would cut into the profit margin. We know how that goes.

A lot of the buildings/homes up here were made without A/C. I assume more places are going to have A/C moving forward, if these heat waves happen regularly now.
Edit: yes, thankfully it’s starting to drop back down to 70s

TFAW theory…last year was great then Star Wars came out in 2021 and they did a 1 copy limit. Customers added accounts to get more than 1 and those extra accounts are still being used resulting in more orders to ship for same # of comics all things equal. One customer could now require 2 or more shipments when they were 1 before.
TFAW will often only ship 1 of hot books instead of the amount ordered post FOC. People are using the alternative accounts to get around it (i.e. ordering 3 will get you one for the account, 3 different accounts ordering 1 copy each will get you 3).

Could be true. I also think business just boomed as well with new customers. I have just one account as I respect retailer limits on books.

I think it mostly depends on if they get shorted or have damages. Unless, they are over selling their stock. I’ve gotten all 3 copies on hot books many times when they were ordered after foc. But, having 3 accounts there’s an even better chance.
There was 8 tfaw customers who bought all the incentives before the one per limit now there’s hundreds it’s their own fault. They thought they were addressing the complaints of people not being able to get incentives and instead increased their workload by 1000% which snowballed into dozens of other problems.
