Is this supposed to mean they are paying more than half cvr price, because nobody else is charging that much, at least that Iāve seen? Of course they do this after people are locked in.
Email them. If they are locked in they should not hold you at the new price. I was disappointed by this as well.
Yeah, the screenshot of the email says if you had existing pre-order, price is $8.99. Pricing mistakes happenā¦ either like it or not, if you donāt like it, buy elsewhereā¦ simple solution to a non-existent problem if you ask me.
If that was pre-FOC, sure. Up the price and people can opt out. But after FOC either honor the original price and suck it up, or let them opt out and suck it up.
Their surplus will likely be in the 80-90% off sales next yearā¦best to get what you can for these now. Donāt lose customers or get stuck holding onto inventory you canāt move.
Oh for sure. If you up the price on people after they āpre-orderedā, either keep it at that price or allow them to opt out, donāt hold them on the new price if you āscrewed upā the pricing.

The last three are regular variants, but I havent seen covers yet.
I think the Elektra one is an Adam Hughes cover based on the Previews catalog, but would like a confirmation. The Dauterman one is a mash up of either Wanda costumes or some other character costumes, but havent seen a cover yet.

Yes. But they sent the email after the price was locked in. Thatās why I said contact customer support to drop. I can get them for cover price locally so I will contact customer support to have them dropped. Of course pricing mistakes happen, no issue with that, but to announce the pricing mistake after they locked is what bugs me.

I wonder how many people are still pre-ordering this or are waiting for their pre-order to be filledā¦

TFAW finally deleted mine from Pre Orders. They also deleted my Web Of Spider-Man #1 1:25, Barbaric #1 Black polybag VAR.
Wasnāt real happy waiting that long and TFAW just dropping the titles out of the blueā¦ Makes no sense to have books up for pre order that will never come?
