Itās been weird. Those Star Wars ratios have been live since early last week and just kinda hanging there.
Should note the Women of Marvel #1 Brown isnāt a incentive and misspriced and listed on tfaw
I would think Miles Morales as Captain America even in a What if would drive some into a Miles America induced frenzy.
I only like the 1:25 because its got the Miles Spiderman on the cover. The cover art on the other variants, and regular doesnt appeal to me.
Hard to say heās going to be a different character each issue, next issue is Wolverine I donāt know how much interest or longevity different What If Miles will have.
It will have first Starling as Falcon which has more likelihood of happening in the future then Miles picking up the Shield and having a Cap series.
Iām just wondering if this Miles What If series is more of a test drive for Marvel to see just how much interest there is for other āvariantsā of him. With the multiverse a big thing and all who knows what they might do if there is enough money and interestā¦and right now Miles always has a ton of constant demand and popularity. Just sayin.
Yeah, I hear ya but if you can get the ratio variants cheap (at ratio or less) they could be quick flips at the least. Many people are nuts for miles. He hasnāt even appeared in a live action film yet. Still a lot of people out there that donāt really know who he is. I donāt think the bandwagon is even half full yet when it comes to Miles. Down the road limited covers with him as other popular characters cou8ld have some legs as well. I wouldnāt pay much over ratio at this point yet.
IMO overdoing it, is a sure fire way to kill interest in a character or cause burnout - see Ghost Rider, Punisher, Moon Knight, etc. This leads to the inevitable reboot and renumber.
Trueā¦Sometimes it is difficult to predict demand on comics such as this. If every comic shop has stacks of the regular covers then some of the ratios, especially the 1:25 will be plentiful. The 1:50 as well as the 1:200 will be tougher to come by. If demand is high it wonāt matter. If people are āmehā about it then they will be long term holds at best. I can see some sites out there (the usual suspects) hyping and building it up though. If that happens who knowsā¦The market today is flat out nuts.
If Tfaw has an exclusive for what if Miles Iām sure 30 other stores do too.
