At the time of the post, the same 100 ratio was for sale on E-Bay at over $20 less and that was still higher than it should have been. I assume most of the others were also listed at similar lower pricing but didn’t check. I only clicked because I was expecting it to link me to a good deal so I could buy a copy to support Chu and have a little something for a regular since I didn’t order enough to grab the 100 since stacked deck ratio’s are not expected to bring anywhere close to ratio equals price returns. I would imagine they’re probably closer on ratio’s that aren’t stacked but for example, using that nonsense pricing structure, Return Wolverine 700 ratio for $700 minus 10% would be asking $630 for a book that’s already virtually unsellable at $252 for years since I’m sure others are already well less than that. Return of Wolverine #1 600 ratio for $600 minus 10% or $540? Not sellable for years at $216. I can keep going with examples but listing extremely overcharged prices just to put a few coins in the till doesn’t feel right. There are other alternatives that can allow you to just go back to searching out the lowest price for an item so Chu members are getting linked to great deals instead of jacked up markups. Maybe double link them, one to get the click and one to what the current price range actually is.

I think you are totally missing the point BJ. Again, I am listing the ratios that are available on tfaw. Simple as that. People can choose to click or not choose to click. They don’t have to buy if they choose to click, but I list the ratios that are listed on tfaw. I don’t have time to list all of this week’s ratios showing up on eBay that are available. If people want to search them on eBay, if they see a cover they like, then they are free to order them from eBay, or mycomicshop, or midtown the week of release because they don’t do for, or their local comics shop.

As for nonsense pricing structure, my lcs sells variants at ratio, no pre-order discount, but you can bet you will get a copy, they end up blowing out all the ones that do not sell at like $5 6 months later. But I still support my lcs.
