One reason why power lines should go underground. Whoever thought it’d be wise to do power lines that are not taller than the local trees were dumbasses… 
You’re not wrong, but that would cost money to the companies that provide power and we can’t have that!
My neighbors gave me so much grief when I moved into my house 4 years ago because we cut down a 40 foot honey locust. It was over our bedroom and we could hear it creaking from the canyon wind every other night.
Fast forward to September 2020 when our area had 99 mph winds and this shit happened:

I’m just Thankful my city buried every powerline, cable, telephone, and internet line underground. Took them about 5yrs…but well worth it with the wind, tornados, and winters we have.
Ours are underground too.
I think the U.S. should ban all marketing signs on sides of roads too… the one thing I liked about Hawaii… no signs along roads for most part. Rather look at scenery than stupid advertising…

We have a planned community not far from here that doesn’t allow any signs at all. So 7-11 nope. Gas station, nope. Walmart, nope.
there are a few states that do a good job of this…Texas is not one of them…

We got around 4 inches… first time in a long time we’ve gotten this much that stuck for more than a day…

It snowed so much in Indianapolis that they sent us home early yesterday and are working from home all week
I’ve been working from home every day since last March 9th, kids started spring break but then that’s around the time COVID started to shut everything down… I already told my main employer I’m just working remote all the time, even if COVID eventually goes away and it’s safe, I might go in every so often but there’s not reason to… all the things I handle are out in the cloud now… they can fire me if they want me to come back… I’ll just go find a new job.

Pandemic is a bs excuse. I preordered from three other shops like three weeks ago and all they all arrived to me quickly.
You realize they’ve had all sorts of bad weather and delays? Right now people don’t have power. I’ve also been waiting the same amount of time but I understand shit happens sometimes and am understanding of extenuating circumstances. Oh you know and the Pandemic as well in case you forgot about social distancing.
