Additionally to add to JcLu’s point, when a store has that many copies, they typically sell well below ratio to recoup some of their costs, tanking the value. There were many exclusives for 27.
Only some stores sell the ratios for below ratio. The rest dont need to because of the inflated prices they set their store variants at. And then those books “sell out”…
I did see someone posted a cover on the bay for the 2nd print 1:25; it looks like a silhouette of the B cover/1:100
I find it odd Venom #27 is still pre FOC but TFAW is limiting to 1 per customer. 
I never added one myself and it’s actually telling me it can’t be added…
Just checking my notebook for preorders and 27A I have 3 27b have 4. And 4 store variants that I liked. And I just preordered 4 2nd prints. I think I’m good on 27.

The art isn’t out. That’s just a random photo the seller put out.
They won’t put the art out on the 2nd print until the first print is released on 8/12 as they will likely use an interior panel.

And they’ve been doing that a lot lately, 1 per pre FOC. I’ve noticed it a few times on Venom and also some later printings too

I got both my 1:100s at cover and yes I agree with all points made about ratio. I’m always about the big books before I go for what will sell best. I don’t think the job boys or the brown covers will have any trouble selling for obvious reason and I have a couple of both coming but I plan to flip all of the store variants cuz they will go like candy and I’ll keep one ratio 100 save the other for pc. That’s the plan FOR NOW

Yes I knew what he was implying. Main covers just always do well in my experience especially highest ratio. I have the codex virgin Jon boy and brown covers coming but I still fully believe the 1:100 will pull more long term. Either way all my bases are well covered so.
If you’ve got a place selling you 1:100 variants at $4-5, keep that place a secret! That’s crazy.

Sounds like a great plan, it will be nice to display the 1:100 and Stegman Var next to each other.
The only store variants I am holding onto so far are the signed Greg Horn Venom #25 (1st cover appearance of Virus and Warmachine homage) CGC 9.8, and possibly the Tyler Kirkham secret virgin variant.

Agreed. People do that on eBay because they need to show a picture, and they don’t want to show the actual cover A as someone may mistakenly buy it…I guess.
But can’t think of the last time marvel did a negative variant for an incentive book…
