Are there any Venom 27 covers that feature Codex?
Never mind, found at least 2 already. Gotta pass if he’s already on the cover of Venom 25 2nd. I bet he’s Dylan though. The Meyers variant even has the secret tongue variant like Venom 7…
Has anyone thrown out he theory that Dylan is Virus or maybe even Normie? Even Dylan’s “friendship” with Normie could explain access to the glider and pumpkin bombs…

I don’t think Dylan will be Virus. So far it seems like Virus is from the same Universe/Earth and followed them through the portal as well…
Codex is from the new universe they went to. That preview of the symbiote avengers has Codex symbol on the buildings.
I actually thought Virus might be Normie, for the same reasons.
Hey may have been brought in first before following him out.
I have a hunch Codex is Future Dylan.

Does this count as a cameo? This predates Venom 25.

Sounds like there are a lot of potentially accurate hunches regarding this mystery.
He’s from the future and may end up with a name change from Codex. Being that he’s from a different time, is it still possible that he plays a relevant ongoing role in our current time?
Or will he be limited to stories that take place in his exact reality/time? I’m more interested in him if he’s not limited to a different reality…
With that said, there have been several time travelers who transplanted as great characters out of their own universe. Cable, Bishop, Terminator, etc.
A little crazy? That’s 400 copies between 3 issues of Venom. 2 long boxes that have only Venom 25-27 in them. That’s a lot crazy, my friend. And you weren’t joking about your passion for Venom.

It’s not his fault, his symbiote made him do it. I’m now up to 10 copies of the second print and want more. I can’t wait to find out if this character is interesting or not haha

I had 5 2nd prints preorder for Venom 25. I think I ended up with 6 total, along with about 15 copies of the 1st print and 10 copies of Venom 26A and 15 copies of #26 Wednesday Variant. I think I have 2x #25 2nd left over, 5x each of Venom#25,#26 1sts and zero Wednesday variants left over. I’m up about 300%-400% on my initial Virus investment.

If Venom 27 were only to give Codex a small panel or he only says like one sentence. It’s possible consensus will be his first full appearance is actually in Venom 28.
If they also put him on the cover of 28 that could further swing popular opinion depending on what happens in 27.
Also, at some point soon we will find out that Codex becomes (enter new name here.) Which may also factor into what issue holds the most significance. This seems to be pacing towards Venom 27 being important, but it’s not out of the question Venom 28 becomes the bigger key…
