This Ryan Brown cover is $39.99 here.

Venom anything 25-27 is about to pop!

I grabbed 300 27 cover A’s too lol

25 is Cameo for Virus and Codex
26 First Full Appearance Virus
27 First Full Appearance Codex

All the while Cates is doing a wonderful job of merging his franchises into each other, thus expanding the fan base for all of them. With the Cherry on top being the Knull event.

These are good times.

Is this you ? https://www.ebay.com/itm/VENOM-27-NM-M-STEGMAN-1-100-SKETCH-VARIANT-MARVEL-COMICS-08-12-2020-PRESALE/203060919065?hash=item2f475fbb19:g:KHQAAOSwzf1fIING

Im assuming you are a retailer, because NOBODY would buy 300 copies at cover price.

Nope. Not a retailer. I got them from Unknown with the 30% FOC discount. 2.79 a piece.

Unknown must love you …lol. You gave them quite a few 1:100s…

What if it’s the Symbiote avengers on the cover? That’s my main concern.

Or even Anne as agent venom.

Neither of those draw like Codex would.

Lol…that Sad Lemon purchase set off fraud alerts on my card. I don’t do many overseas purchases lol. Had to jump through some hoops.

Look at this Chinese scam

Yes I did. Hopefully they demonstrate that love by packing them nicely.

Daaaaamn. Thats blatantly obvious

That’s why I went with Cover A’s and didn’t wait. No reason to let an opportunity pass you by.

So does this boil down to people wanting to just make money, so they call a cameo, or extended cameo a first appearance and the market rolls with it?

Using the Punchline example, she is in 2, maybe 3 panels in Batman 89 and has dialogue but isn’t named. This is considered by the market as a cameo. In HA3 she is in multiple panels, has quite a bit of action, but doesn’t say a word (even though the scene feels like she should have said SOMETHING) but IS named. This is considered by the market as her first appearance.

In Batman 92 she features heavily and is on multiple covers of the issue. Batman 92 seems to be the least desired. This is what writers and DC says is a first appearance.

I guess, for me, if a character is seen in his or her entirety (or mostly) and is named that is a first appearance (HA3)…

-Rob, still learning the curve.

Rob, normally cameo’s are well sought after, but not as much as first full appearances.

Both are good. First full appearances are just better.

Three panels is a full in my book as long as the face is shown dialogue and a name Is a plus. silver age villains your lucky to get three panels.

Definetion of a cameo is a single sketch.
“a short descriptive literary sketch which neatly encapsulates someone or something.“

Bat 89 you just saw her eyes. They never showed the full character.

HA 3 she was in multiple panels, shown in full, involved in the story. That’s a full.

Dialogue and being named help, but are not deal breakers.

But cameo vs full doesn’t mean one is more valued then the other. The market decided that.

Typically full is valued more then cameo, but that’s not always the case. Kamala Khan is barely in one panel of Capt Marvel 14 which is a cameo, but it goes significantly higher then her first full in Marvel Point One.

Tyler Kirkham has a pretty cool Codex cover of Venom 27 for those chasing the Jonboy as well.

I like the Jonboy one because he is unmasked the #25 2nd print , #26, and other #27 covers haven’t shown that yet. Gives it some uniqueness.

Ya definitely gives it something extra with the unmasked on the Virgin for the flip.

Kirkham has his followers. And it’s a negative space cover that matches the one he did for virus on 26. Art wise I like it better for PC.

Not a bad option for anyone who doesn’t want to buy the jonboy from UK.

I haven’t found a site with the Virgin still available though. Just the trade.

1st Shevenom is going to explode according to the guy with the info Venom Sinner Takes all #3. She has been gone for 20 years and comes back as Agent Venom in this issue.
