If, big if, this character becomes popular/sought after, this will have the lower print run. 80 was expected to have the 1st appearance.

Well, they have until this weekend, which is eternity.

I can get Dick Grayson’s first appearance as Nightwing for around $50 on a good day
 I’m not counting that this character will be in high demand, it will be a quick flip. Better flip’em fast and the real winners will be those that have them listed before (ughhh
 New DC Tuesday) Wednesday if there is any heat.

The thing is, 78 sparked interest and gained heat, so there was already inherent/increased awareness. I really don’t think 79 will catch folks that unaware now. Just my thoughts on it.

Just read #80 after hopping on with #78 - after not caring about Nightwing since the early Teen Titans days, I’m really enjoying this Tom Taylor run. Still only a splash page ending of Heartless and the first full will be #81

Because 80 is a cameo, 79 is even better long-term as 1st cameo.

Absolutely right. 2nd cameos rarely do anything. Also, everyone will see 81 coming, you’d think.
