1st 10?
Well … I suppose I could parachute into the Javits at 6 a.m. to secure one of the 10.
Or I can just let the dealers who are already on the floor grab the 10 
Yup… they’ll be gone before the floor is open to actual convention attendees… This is why they should ban all transactions prior to the floor opening up and vendors/exhibitors should be banned from buying unless they have a regular badge they paid for and after floor is open. This is one reason I have zero desire to attend conventions now, all the crap I want to buy for myself is at inflated prices at the dealers booths after the floor is open…

It’s why I’ve essentially given up on those hot things out of the gate.
It’s like flying a kite, indoors.
Two core memories for me.
#1 was a few years ago when I was way back in the line for the Peach Momoko/Todd McFarlane Spawn cover behind all the delears…/only for the dealers to get into a shouting match and the booth moved all of us up to the front who were just enjoying conversation making the best of it.
#2 was last year when I just happened to be hanging around the Walmart booth when Todd McFarlane showed up and signed a bunch of Spawn 77 covers free.
There are still good times to be had. Just need a positive attitude!
Who is selling the Dan Mora AB 24? I’m hoping to snag a copy or two off of whatnot since I wasn’t able to go to NYCC this year.

I’m so freakin tired and it’s only day 1. Half a day actually. Fill/early days start tomorrow.
Just about everything I wanted was sold out by noon today. But some places are restocking tomorrow. Need to rethink my whole strategy.
And I’m bringing stuff to be graded tomorrow. Going to be a long one.
Looking forward ti the panels as those will be my time to sleep.
Guy selling this comic said there was a line at opening this morning. He said he didn’t think he’d sell out over the weekend. Said if he know it would be popular he would have printed 100.
I said “you must not be from around here.”
He said he was from the Bronx.
I told him he should have known better.
Walmart giving away free comics ?
Yes. They did last year too. But you have to walk through an activity…at the end they give you a bag with swag and you pick a few comics.
As with many things this year you have to complete and activity.
Magic the gathering is giving away free “welcome” decks of Star Trek and Marvel U. But I think you have to sit down and let them show you how to play….they ran out of them before ai got there yesterday. Will try again today.
Looks like there is a borg queen card in them that people want? Or maybe it’s an additional giveaway?
