NYCC 2026 Exclusives / Giveaways

Pace yourself and have fun!

PSA sold out of the mass appeal #2 here. They still had issue #1 and until a few months ago for $30. Said they weren’t getting more tomorrow.

Still sells for $75-$100.

I do want a copy of issue 2 though. I might just order copies online and flip them like I did last year.

No one thinks to actually check their website.

One to keep an eye on.

The Mass Appeal whatnot booth is selling these gold hip hop variants for $50.

I don’t recall see miles #1 yesterday…but they had stacks of everything else.

They’re under a counter so people are pulling them against a “bar” causing some spine damage. So if anyone swings buy looking…go to the back of the stack.

What’s available at the PSA booth as of 10am today.

There’s a Batman Lego Mini-Fig giveaway.
I can’t remember which booth was simply giving it away as a handout.

But I sold 2 for nearly $50 each within minutes of listing.
I thought it to be mostly worthless (a few bucks), so I didn’t even pay attention at which booth when it was given to me

LEGO’s always do really well from conventions. I wish LEGO would come back to do booths again at NYCC. The last one they did I think was 2017 and it was the Brickheadz Boba Fett with Carbonite one @Anthony ? Can’t remember the exact price but maybe it was $30 or $40 for the set but we were selling them for over $100-$200 easily, then if you got the creator to sign the box, that bumped the value up even more. You’d have to stop there first each day though as they’d run out, the limited per day but it was also a big booth outside the venue where the cosplayers did photo shoots. Limited to one at a time, line wasn’t terrible but I think out of the 4 days I know I managed to get 3 total.

Looks like they average around $500 and more on better days… should have held onto them but honestly at the time, the goal was get exclusives, list exclusives while on the con floor and it paid for the entire trip + profit. Literally buying plane tickets, hotels and food was all paid for by just obtaining exclusives and selling them and still walking away with extra money in the end. Ahh… the good ol days of convention going.

Was I the DC booth? That’s where other LEGO set were revealed
Relating to legacy of the Dark Kight.

I can’t find anything about it anywhere online other than eBay sales. No

Pre-COVID conventions were so different.

It wasn’t at the DC booth. Just passed there and it they had no clue. And Insled several people working there.

Maybe a surprise drop by Lego who doesn’t have booth?

Maybe the Warner bros games booth?

Online sales report it’s part of Nintendo Switch 2 game? Perhaps check the video game booths…

Saw that too. Not sure they have a booth.

Another listing mentioned about The O2 in the description? Can’t really find anything about that but search says it’s not officially part of the convention and it’s across the street?

It’s those small freebie giveaways that really make it nice for the 100% ROI… I would bank on these back in the day, just pick one up every time I walked past. Selling even at $5-$15 really adds up when they just giving the stuff away for free.

One year it was one of the toy vendors handing out the Mini-Mates, might of been Diamond Collectors toys and they had bowls full of them. Just grab handful and sell’em like hotcakes for $15 a piece.

@D-Rog

Google AI seems to reference that the pre-order for the game was actually at the DC booth, so maybe you just talked to some turds who don’t have a clue of what’s going on and or they’re just completely out at this point.

Being an official LEGO product, I couldn’t see some smaller booth managing to get an official LEGO mini figure made for the convention.

I feel like you are now Batman and I’m Alfred at the computer assisting you from afar…

@bill didn’t mention buying a game.

This was a previous promotion at Gamescon in September. I wonder if they had someone just hanging out handing them out.

I really wish I can remember, but I just can’t.
I was waiting for my nephew, barely paying attention, looking at a glass window I think?
And someone at that booth, whatever booth it was, just came up and handed me one. And then my nephew who proceeded to just hand it over to me. No desire to retain.
It was a blip comicon momentary instance that I honestly didn’t think was much of anything.

I did not purchase anything.
I think I was near the Veefriends booth, but that’s just an old guy “think” that could be totally off
