Nycc 2026 🏙

I sold a signed doodle McFarlane used at NYCC years ago showing how his wife draws Pictionary for $500 years back.

We’re probably not priority either… so there may not even be a lottery by the time the priority ticket holders scoop up the slots.

So DC is going to have their own registration for these signings, the NYCC run one is closed I believe?

Seems that way. 100 free signings. Organized by some Que system.

It’ll be chaos.

I’m wondering if Walmart will be interviewing Todd McFarlane again this year. I think it was announced at the Walmart booth on Thursday, or maybe Friday at opening.

Walmart also had a thing you could go through their activity and get free comics at the end (Marvel & VeeFriends).

Its nice to see DC doing signings again. They always had them years ago and you just had to get a ticket early in the morning for the one you wanted.

I remember pre-covid you would just walk through the queue. Met so many great artists. Got sketches and signatures.

Oh shit, yeah… Remember that one year we just kind of walked right up and got so many artists and such to do sketch and signings. They weren’t even on the main floors either, like off to the side in the hallway…

Yup in the atrium. Frank Miller was standing there but you weren’t allowed to approach him. Klaus Janson was there. He said he wasn’t allowed to sketch but did a bat symbol for me in my book. Then Dan Didio ruined it by signing right on the middle of the front cover.

This one has an online limited pre-sale prior to NYCC. so can watch eBay “pre-sales” after this pre-sale to gage interest and flip potential.

I’m attending Baltimore Comic Con this year (didNYCC last year) but I’m starting to get a lot of FOMO. NYCC looks to be rocking this year.

Not too much hype for anything at Baltimore this year and very few announced exclusives. But I am here mostly for the on-site grading and getting a few signatures/commissions so it serves my purposes.

This will go fast.

Probably gone before the floor is even open…

Unless you have to submit something to qualify.

I’m thinking of submitting some card. But gotta see what the yr r accepting right now. They had shut down some services because they got too overwhelmed with the card boom going currently.
