I’ve been looking into getting marvel trading cards but holy heck are they outrageously expensive. Like boxes going for $200-$600+
Yeah…and I’m paranoid of the stories I hear about places pulling shenanigans with cards/boxes. Maybe that’s all unfounded rumor but still…
I miss the days of just being able to buy packs of cards at various stores/shops. I find even the most basic of sets and series impossible to get a hold of.
This parody movie sounds fun and protected under fair use, but WB wants to shut it down. I am curious how it will all shake out. We have a copyright lawyer as a member here, don’t we? Can you explain if Vera or WB has a better case?
You can subscribe to Rudy’s Patreon, he has been branching out lately selling alot of Weiss, pokemon, etc to his patrons.

I would also keep an eye out on target or barnes and nobles, I managed to order this small box from target , I have it set to wishlist so it notifies me when its back up for sale
I have that.
The IP spans NFTs!? Holy shit! Now I’m sold!
Did you all see a 9.8 1st Luke Cage go for $102,000 last sale was $31,000 I think only 1st Ghost Rider 9.8 tops that in the Bronze Age.
Kinda weird that both Luke Cage and Wolverine go for that much in 9.8 but such a huge price disparity in all other grades between the two books.
Its also odd to me that two characters with vastly different levels of popularity/recognition have books that sell for similar amounts.
Sometimes it’s scarcity…looking at the CGC census at the # of 9.8s:
4 Marvel Spotlight #5s
12 Luke Cage #1s
135 Incredible Hulk #181s (there is a 9.9).
Update, CBCS also has 4 hulk 181s in 9.8, but none of the other two.
LOW PRINT RUN, I dunno im just BSing
The first half of the sentence isn’t surprising because of the second half of the sentence.
Haven’t seen this posted, so apologies if I’m repeating somebody else’s post, but I thought this was interesting:
Not just the longest Managa but one if not the longest running show. Thanks for the info
im a big one piece fan and highly recommend it, its a masterclass in world building and story, only problem is how long it takes to read and watch. I finally caught up with it last year and its such a great ride
