All the stuff I bought to sell in 2026 has sold pretty quickly and happy with the returns. (Mostly sold in 2025)

Any one know Betty Boop 1st app in a comic?
I tried Grok and chatgpt and get Big Little Books which are not comics (theyre hardcovers.)
When i pressed harder on the question, I would have expected reprints in comic format from the early strips but nada comes up from either chatgpt or grok.
Earliest comic I can find is Betty Boop Funnies from Hi-De–Ho published 1978. Seems a bit late for a 1st app in a classic comic book format, but maybe it is.
Two 9.6s on census and a spattering lower cond.

I know bronzeville highlighted it in n one of his CGC too 10 census videos…but which year I have no idea. It had to be pretty early in his series though (1930s?).
I doubt she was on the cover, so you may have to watch/listen to the videos to find out what book.
She may not have gone by the name Betty in her first appearance.

First two sales in the bag. Coheed and Cambria Second Stage turbine #2 self published I got o it of a quarter bin sold for $20. Have been selling 8th Print Absolute Batman #1’s pretty easily. Not hugely profitable but they are selling.

I was offered the chance to help be a moderator for the Reddit group Comic Swap AKA r/comicswap and as we don’t do much buy/sell/trade I didn’t think it would be a conflict of interest to help out there too. Mainly, it seems it will be telling people how to correctly format their posts when they’re selling comics or shutting down scammy folks. I’ll still be moderating here plenty, of course–nobody worry! I just want to be sure everyone is cool with that.

I found 2 copies. One for $400 and the other for $170. O info online. Why is it so expensive? Should I buy the $170 and flip it for $400?
Any info would be appreciated.
My first sale was a Blokees Megatron. Sold 14 (of 20 I listed) in the last week of various characters.
12 total sales today on the bay. Nothing high dollar, most of it’s been sitting for 2-6 months.
I’ve sold a decent amount of items since x-mas.
But here is my first comic sale of 2026. Technically not a Mora, Absolute or Beefcake cover!!! But one that is somewhat easy to find for cover and move in the $15-$20

Nightwing has been selling like crazy. We built out the list of comics to hunt for and it is littered with Nightwing issues.

But the funny thing is someone made an offer on a book. I went to accept. But they blocked me after they made the offer. I guess they had regrets on the offer.
Not sure why the hype but too high to buy-in IMO. There’s no confirmed sale for $400. The $400 is likely the seller testing the waters.
