A shop owner in my area recently moved, and has a few storage units packed with stuff. He found an old unopened pack of Pokémon cards. He says they are first gen, but I know zip about them.
He couldn’t decide what to do with them, so he’s going to make a bunch of mystery boxes and put it in one.
He’s a legit dude, but is this a first gen pack?
WOW! I’ll have to watch that because I was wondering where he’s been. Honestly though, within the last year, it’s like he’s been getting into a wider variety of collectibles and not a majority of it being comics. Good for him!
I actually do watch Beyond Wednesdays and what you’ve put in your response is not inaccurate. I, more often than not, watch the ‘re-runs’ so that I can fast forward through topics that I’m not interested in.
In my opinion, it can still be a solid source of information. I think most would disagree

Dennis is a great guy. He’s authentic for sure. He’s smart as hell from a business man perspective as well. He is not the type to shout from the roof tops about the good he does…but it is plenty. Treats his staff great as well.
The amount of comics and toys this guy has stored up is incredible too. I saw him post recently where he just randomly found a long box of old stock Invincible lol
I costumed up as my biker scout for an event and he treated me very respectfully (surprisingly many don’t and I’m doing it for free).
Anyway, I agree with all you said about that YouTube junk as well. Glad he quit

It’s true, NYCC just isn’t worth it, hasn’t been worth it in quite some time. If I’m spending that amount of dough for a trip, it’s gonna be to an all inclusive resort down in Mexico or Costa Rica where drinks are even included during the stay.
I agree with you, but as long as people keep paying the prices will keep rising. It is like taking a trip to a theme park for a day now.
