Yes, at first there were reasonable excuses to do with backlog at the grading company, etc. but recently just radio silence.
I’m going through the same thing from Hotshot comics. I pre ordered Nice House on the Lake CGC 9.8 in May of 2021. He said it would be around Christmas initially and then went radio silent after. Ebay has since froze his account until he ships out all those promised orders but I dunno how much hope I have a year later. Now I just troll him when he posts about new pre orders on Instagram and make comments that he never ships.

Funny cause wanted comix posts constantly on social media, whether its to put out another exclusive or show off a “warehouse” find of whatever book is hot at the moment
yeah, Wanted comix is also on Whatnot I believe. They are constantly posting and very active in social media. Try messaging them or commenting via those means.
Same thing for me. Looks like I’ve got a lot of trolling to do in my future…

Email pics to TFAW first, and then contact them. Explain to them the issue and see what they can do for you. It definitely hurts the value of the book, but it is still worth more than the ~$100 you paid for it (not being sarcastic here). Maybe what they offer might make it hurt less.

And you should never pre-order books or items that have yet to be released and then are being shipped off to get slabbed once they do arrive.

I ordered a High Republic #1 off eBay like that. Paid next to nothing and now I have it sitting there. Didn’t bother me it took forever to come in.

At times it pays off but other times you get stuck with nothing but pondering if you’re ever going to see the goods you pre-ordered. Try to buy from sellers with 100% feedback for sure and those that seem to be responsive with inquiries.

Anyone here knows how long would it take for a store to ship a PRE-ORDER item if it has been released, especially if the item is an incentive variant?
My own experience from the
Midtown Comics (Same Week)(NM to NM-)
MyComicShop (Same Week)(Condition is VF to VF/NM most of the time)
TFAW (2-3 Weeks after release)(VF/NM - NM)
I heard the following comic shop ships their book in “NM” condition were
GOLDEN Apple
Unknown Comics
Frankie Comics
However, I don’t know how long would it take for them to ship their book, if anyone have any experience or feedback, please let me know. Also I hear stories of store CANCELLING pre-order to make some $$$ should a book becomes hot.
If anyone can provide some insight or experience, please do share.

Frankie’s and Unknown take months. I haven’t used Golden Apple in quite awhile but I remember their shipping being much faster than the other two.

When you say month, are you talking about after the book has been release, it takes them month before shipping it to you? (Unknown, Frankie)
Also, how would you rate the general condition of the books (Unknown, Frankie)? I find it for myself that my luck with MyComicshop hasn’t been the best. Books comes bend, noticeable color rubs and so on.
Yes just because the book has released they still have to ship all the orders placed previous to yours that haven’t shipped. Last purchase from Frankie’s for me was Hughes Siktc and I didn’t receive it until until 6 weeks after release date.
