Really? Wow crazy. I missed that 1
I don’t think they chimed in on the forum. Its the guys who do the kickstarter campaigns for their store variants. Damn I cannot remember their name.
Sanctum came on the main site and said they didn’t want our readers buying from them on eBay as their ebay listings were really for their store customers…
It was Del Rey comics that got into it with Poyo
It’s funny that @agentpoyo got into enough beefs we lost track of who he was fighting with. He seems so pleasant too, so it is odd to see he had any troubles. How dare he and I get along, we need to fight about something. Um, I personally like, “Predator 2,” more than the first, even though both are good. What say you, good sir?
That was it…on the “main” site…I forget that CHU has a main site, lol.
Ridiculous statement David.
Are you going to take this shit AP?
I wouldn’t.
Here’s how it’s done.
If it’s worth doin’, it’s worth over-doin’.
I used 3 cardboard inserts inside of this mailer as I don’t like how the center is weakened by the seam down the middle.
Still kept the weight below 12 oz.

Haha… I actually like both Predator and Predator 2…
Pfftttt… media mail is same price up to a pound… most of the time I’m not fighting on securing while keeping the weight down.
I think everyone was referring to the time on the main site a retailer was trying to justify their stance on jacking up prices on release day… I can’t even recall the retailer, so long ago…
sanctum Sanctorium Dropping
That was just Sanctum getting mad cause I linked to their ebay listing for Batman Beyond 2nd prints for #37 I think… I mean, not sure why anyone would have issues with free advertising but it is what it is…
Because they wanted them to go to “their customers and not possible speculators” even though anyone buying them was speculating on them.
If they wanted only customers, then don’t list on eBay… it’s publicly available…
I do not get that mindset. A customer is a customer. A lot of retailers have a grudge against speculators, but in my opinion, speculators are what is keeping the comic industry a float right now.
Yeah, if I was a retailer, who cares what the “customer” or “buyer” does with the product after it leaves your hand. The main objective is to move and sell inventory… when you start caring what happens after it leaves your store, then you need to set some new priorities I think or just don’t bother being in the retail business.
If I had a shop and someone wanted to buy all the copies of a book on the shelf…SOLD!
To be fair, first week for hot books I’d limit them so all my usual customers have a shot at books but after a week, I think it’s fair to say I’d be willing to sell all books to a customer if they wanted them.

I just worked out a deal on all the copies of Last Ronin #1 1:10. Guy bought all my copies. He told me he was reselling them. I could have missed out on the sale and said why am I going to give them to you slightly cheaper than I can sell them myself and kept them up for sale, but instead I took the quick sale for all my copies and still profited handily.
Just got my first order from Legacy Comics. Ordered the Momoko Punchline 1 Team Variant a hundred years ago. The gemini-style mailer was a little rough around the edges (literally). The book was double bagged and double boarded, and it’s flawless. I don’t know if I can tell you the difference between a 9.8 and a 10.0, but damn, this thing should contend.
I wasn’t going to submit this, but I think I have to now.
