I finally got my Momoko Batman Advantures from Fankies. I waited almost 3 months for them (from the time I purchased them). They where shipped Via FedEx and they arrived in Minty condition.
So I got my Momoko Last Ronin #1 in today from Golden Apple
Boxed nicely and well protected.
One problem. They sent the wrong book. I ordered the trade dress and they sent me the virgin.

They are going to email you saying they want it back or it was a mistake like all those emails I’ve been getting stating they made mistakes on prices lol JK JK.

They could also just listed them as pick-up only.
Sell and use the revenue to by the trade dress, pocket the rest.
Ugh I’m so mad over missing the store exclusives for the last Ronin. I thought wow 70 f-ing store exclusives, no way this comic holds value - now literally most of the exclusives are way over $100. Missed the boat. At least I got 4 cover As.

Most eBay buyers don’t even read the descriptions… you know how many cancellations that would have caused if they did a listing as “pick up only” on eBay?
When I was selling a lot of computer parts, I’d get people cancelling cause they didn’t read how much some stuff was going to cost to ship.
I’d rather miss the boat than potentially lose. Nobody cared until the publisher claimed allocations and then retailers played along… collectors lost their minds and bought into FOMO driving up value.
I went back and looked over pre-sales, most were cover price or less. The day after the news hit, boom, it’s a $25 book and higher…
The question now is, does this FOMO stick around or do we start to see the prices drop over time gradually? It’s a weird market, a whiff of FOMO can cause strange and unusual things for years on books…

I sold the Momoko Virgin for $190 shipped
I sold 2 regulars for $25 each
I have 6 more regulars and 3 1:25 on transit.
So regarding The Comic Mint.
I ordered a book with a release date of 9/30. Non-graded copies.
Only after I emailed them yesterday, asking about the status of this order, did they ship it and provide me with a tracking number - order arrives tomorrow.
Kinda whack if you ask me.
Item page says “NON GRADED BOOKS ARE ANTICIPATED TO SHIP WITHIN 10 BUSINESS DAYS.”
Yet here we are, around 48 days after the drop date. How much longer would I have had to wait if not for the email that I sent them yesterday?
Have a graded copy of the same book on a separate order - it’s been 7 weeks already but maybe I’ll be getting that one sometime early next year, assuming they don’t forget about it too. (This year would obv be ideal though) Fingers crossed.
Same here, I also have an order from Comic Mint from Sept 26, which I am waiting for. Seems like everyone is behind on orders.
I had ordered a graded book and two raw books with Comic Mint. After an email to them, they stated that they hold it all and ship it together once the graded book arrived. It took 2+ months, but the graded book was a pre-order, so I figured it would take that long. Got all three a couple weeks back. Really well packaged.
Yeah that makes sense. I did have two separate orders though, with the intent of having the raw books arrive sooner than the graded one - also paid for shipping on both orders accordingly.
Not a huge a deal but the whole thing about me having to email them to have the package shipped was I dunno… less than ideal.
Just got my TFAW shipment. TERRIBLE. Bent comics all through the order. Who do we complain to again?
Still waiting for Playsanity to ship my Last Ronin 1:10…and I paid $20 for it.
If I call I bet they refund my money.
