Online Comic Store Report Card

I got my blind faith package from CHU today. It was packaged terrible and Anthony is terrible. He almost ruined my free CHU sticker by putting tape on it! What a jerk that guy is! lol jk. Everything was A OK!

Anthony once promised me a copy of TMNT The Last Ronin #1 and in stead he just packaged up neighborhood dog $h!t and a vile of his child’s tears. He didn’t even package it well, so the vile broke and ruined the otherwise mint condition dog waste!

Got my second order from TFAW and I’m more or less happy. Packaging was fine. Bagged and boarded books in a Gemini arrived unscathed. However my 3 copies of X-Men #12 3rd Prints are all real dirty, dingy with all sorts of scuff marks. All 3 copies were nasty and obviously were received like that from Diamond.

That’s a shame. Seems like Marvel books scuff if you just breathe on them.

Yup! That’s why I prefer to buy those in person

For the record, I smashed the vile before I put it in there.

Dude. Sorry the mail took forever to get it to you. FYI it wasn’t a free sticker being held by tape, it was free tape holding on to the sticker. I didn’t want the tape to lose its stickiness.

Just wanted to say I bought a book from @Alana on Mercari. The book was packaged nicely and withstood the voyage from Hawaii to Louisiana during USPS delays. I’ve since sent that book off to cgc for the Kevin Eastman signing. Thanks Alana happy customer.

Just went through my first order from @PCKComics and I must say I was very impressed. Shipped out lightning fast, packaged great and the books were all in mint condition. Thanks for the freebies too! I will definitely order from them again.

Despite all the trouble others have had, my Unknown preorder shipped right on schedule and came quickly, well packaged, and with good looking books. I was happy with the experience.

Welp got the bad end of the stick by tfaw this time. 12 comics were packaged in a box with packing peanuts, this time the spines were NOT alternated (which like come on there were 4 incentives in this box), had nothing to hold the stack together, and every comic has a very minor spine tick in the same exact spot and bent there - as if someone put like a heavy box on half of the stack of comics. It’s not a huge spine tick, but it is there, 100% that they wouldn’t think it’s an issue so just stinks man. You win some you lose some I guess.

I just starting ordering from Westfield comics and have had 4 orders canceled or partially canceled the past month. is this normal for Westfield?

They canceled the first order I ever placed with them so I never tried again :man_shrugging:t3:

ComixZone keeps impressing me. I like using them.

Ordered from Floating World Comics 4x Night Hunters. They arrived in a rectangular U-Line mailer with a thin foam wrap around them. Bagged and boarded inside, but two comics per bag and board. I double stack some issues to save space, but I think this is kinda strange from a retail operation. Some people get real picky about having a bag and board per issue.

I should say that strange bag and board technique aside these issues arrived mint each. image image

Omg I just ordered from them yesterday and got a cancelled email earlier. SMH this was very displeasing. Not even going to bother with them again. Couldnt find this book anywhere thought I preordered on Tfaw but was a diff cover.

Westfield is extremely reliable if you order before FOC. After FOC seems spotty.

Night Hunters was a great read. I loved the first issue.

This was before FOC though which I have heard mentioned here so it was surprising to me.

That is strange, then.
